Job Overview: As General Manager of Llanelli Town AFC, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Club’s operations, growth and overall success. You will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the club's day-today activities, ensuring efficient operations, and fostering a strong connection between the club, its fans, facility users, and the broader community. You will also be responsible for the commercial success of the Club, helping to generate income
key responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute, along with the Board, a long-term strategic plan for the club, aligning with the club's vision and values
Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the club, including finances, administration, and general resources.
Compliance and Governance: Ensure the club complies with all relevant regulations, including those from governing bodies such as the Football Association of Wales.
Financial Management: Manage the club's finances, including financial targets and budgeting in liaison with the Finance Director
Marketing and Promotion: To promote the club through various channels, including social media, press releases, and community events.
Facilities Management: To oversee the maintenance and development of the clubs’ facilities, including 3G Pitch Hire.
Additional Responsibilities
Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with the local community, schools, and local businesses to promote the club's positive impact and engagement.
Fan Engagement: Develop and implement fan engagement strategies to enhance the fan experience and grow the club's supporter base.
Commercial Development: Generating income for the club which may include fundraising, grant applications, as well as bringing in sponsorships and commercial partnerships based on agreed targets
