In Walnut Grove, Stickley has combined flowing lines inspired by modern design with moments of sophisticated handwork that beautifully showcase the furniture-maker’s art. Contours are carefully sculpted, and structural elements are set apart to incorporate air and create a floating lightness.

We’ve crafted each piece from solid American black walnut and hand-applied a transparent finish that reveals the grain in all its beauty and complexity.

Natural variations, from differences in grain pattern to a deepening of color over time, mean that pieces will vary slightly in tone—a mark of authenticity in the very best solid wood furniture. Walnut Grove is a visually rich collection that seems to have traveled directly from the craftsman’s bench to your home.

Its wide top can handle an array of computer equipment, papers, and materials, with more supplies close at hand in two roomy drawers. The desk is even broad enough for children to work side by side.

Our patented Gathering Island is designed to fit like a glove behind a sofa, offering additional seating as well as functional shelves and workspace. The lower surface aligns with the back of the sofa to create a shelf for drinks or snacks, and an integrated power strip for lights, laptops, and chargers makes the top surface a convenient place to work. When work is done, the island becomes a gathering place for friends and family to relax while watching a movie or a game.
