IT’S THE SEASON! As the holiday season approaches, our hearts naturally turn towards the warmth of family, the joy of shared traditions, and the comfort of being surrounded by loved ones. However, it's important to acknowledge that not everyone experiences this season in the same way.

For some, the holidays can be a poignant reminder of solitude, a time when the absence of family and companionship is keenly felt.

In this reflection, let's pause to consider those who may not have a family to celebrate with, recognizing that their experiences during this time may be unique. While we may not be able to replace the bonds of family, we can certainly extend a helping hand and contribute to making this season brighter for others.

At Carriage House we are filled with gratitude for the warmth and camaraderie that defines our company. In the spirit of giving back, we are excited to announce our December Donation Drive, an initiative that embodies the true meaning of the season.

Our donation will go to Homeless Coalition, a not for Profit Corporation that serves as a catalyst for community collaboration to prevent and end homelessness in our community.

This is an opportunity for us to practice empathy and compassion, recognizing that gestures of kindness can bring immense comfort to those who may be feeling the weight of solitude. As we gather with our own families, let's hold space in our hearts for those who may be navigating the holidays alone.

Remember, it's not just about the tangible items we give but the genuine care and acknowledgment of others' experiences. Together, through small acts of kindness, we can make a positive impact on the lives of those who may find themselves alone during the holiday season.
