FALL
This project focused on creating a wooden topography model of the site in Capri, Italy. It was a combination of individual and group work. It required modeling the islands in Rhino, lasercutting the wood and assembling the model by hand.
The prompt for the project required creating a villa in Capri, Italy for a villain. The program required a religious and residential space. This project had multiple stages. For the earliest step, I created a sculpture of a building, using plaster, beads and paint. This sculpture conveys the purest form of the villa for a supervillain.
For the later, more formal stage, I created a combined drawing which showed the plan of the building, the site plan and the section through the building. It still channeled the same color scheme as the early sculpture and explored the form more.

As another step in the exploration of different mediums for the supervillain villa project, I have created a bristol model, which was initially planned in Rhino, laser cut and assembled by hand with minimal glue and measuring involved. This approach allowed to make the model very precise and detailed.

This is a public housing project in Manenberg, Cape Town, South Africa. The building was supposed to hold about 250 residents and have shared indoor and outdoor spaces.
In this project, the goal was to design a way station along the trail in the town of Allisonia. This particular building represents the bathroom and shower, which are ADA-accessible. Additionally, it manages the natural lighting and structure of site.
There are two separate projects displayed on this page. Below is the first shadow study, which included first creating an object out of 25 paper strips, photographing it and documenting its shadow, and then drawing it with graphite pencils. For the second shadow study, I have created a pavilion model and then used ink to express its shadow from the top view. Both studies were great for learning new techniques.
This project focused on exploring different mediums and shapes in architecture.
This sculpture looks different from various angles, combining soft curves and sharp turnes.
