The Environment is the surrounding of an object and it is essential for all living things in this world. Every living creature has the right to enjoy the natural environment. We are inheriting the environment to our young generation. Consequently, we are responsible of taking care and protecting our environment in order to live in a comfort and healthy place. A clean environment will give us a lively and vibrant lifestyle. We, in our over attempts to develop the world in which we live, have started the process of its deterioration. Today, we hear of environmental problems such as pollution, acid rain, ozone depletion and the greenhouse effect. The Pollution is a global issue that needs commitment from everyone. Pollution refers to the contamination or poisoning of the environment. Unfortunately, environmental pollution has become part of modern-day living. Environmental pollution occurs when impure or harmful substances are released into the environment, either towards the air, water, land and others. This is because rapid industrialization and urbanization have contaminated both air and water. Air and water are the most essential needs for humans. Without them, we would perish. Recent surveys have shown that the main sources of pollution in the world are industries, vehicles, oil spills, pesticides and power plants. However, governments have not done something to stop pollution nor have we helped to stop it. Pollution affects every element of the environment, additionally; it affects the health of people. Water pollution affects every living species in the world. Almost 60% of the species live in water. Soil pollution is making it impossible for plants to grow, and if they do, they will grow with

no nutrients. Noise pollution is caused when an unpleasant sound affects our ears and leads to psychological problems like stress, hypertension, hearing impairment and many more. Unfortunately, not many know about the importance and how pollution is affecting our environment and way of living. It is important to create environmental awareness to save our world, and not to stop or disappear all the advances that with hard work we have made, but to learn how to use them and save the planet in which we live.

Albert Einstein
“If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or objects.” – Albert Einstein. The word “Einstein” is used as a synonymous of the word “genius” in honor of the greatest theoretical physicist in the world, Albert Einstein. But he wasn’t only the smartest man in the world, but also one of the kindest, he cared and studied almost every aspect involved with human life and tried to improve it as much as he could until the day he passed away. Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, in the Kingdom of Württemberg in the German Empire on March 14, 1879. As he didn’t talk until he was four, his parents were worried about him; but once while they were on the table, he broke his fourth year of silence. At the age of eight, he was transferred to the Luitpold Gymnasium (now known as the Albert Einstein Gymnasium) where he received advanced primary and secondary school education until he left Germany seven years later. As he grew, Einstein built models and mechanical devices for fun and began to show a talent for mathematics. In 1921, Einstein won a Nobel Prize in Physics for his various achievements in physics, like: explaining “why is the sky blue”, the world’s most famous equation, quantum theory, theory of relativity, the structure of the universe, and the idea of the atomic bomb plus much more. He has made so many achievements that it would take a long time to enlist them all. He was not only dedicated to physics but to help to improve people’s life. He used to charge people for his autographs and donate all this money to charity. In 1952, he was offered the presidency of Israel for he had supported them and fought against slavery and human rights, but he politely refused the offer. Albert Einstein was named Man of the Century by the Time Magazine and the reasons of it are numerous. It is evident why Albert Einstein is one of the most influential men on earth; he is clearly an amazing role model. “Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value.” – Albert Einstein.

Reflection It is nice how we have presented class work and homework in a different way every time. This unit we have put into practice and discovered skills that we haven’t used in a while or haven’t used at all. I really like to see the work of my friends, so I am 100% into presenting all of our work to our classmates. There isn’t something I would really like to change, I believe how we handled this unit was really functional, different and fun.
