VAIL VALLEY market update Vail Valley is known for its world-class ski resort, gorgeous landscapes and luxury amenities. Nestled in Eagle County along with other communities such as Beaver Creek, Edwards and Arrowhead to name a few, this area exudes the mountain lifestyle. LIV Sotheby’s International Realty produces a Micro Market Report focusing on the real estate performance for Eagle County, which makes up the Vail Valley, for January through September of 2019 compared to January through September of 2018. Eagle County as a whole showed an increase in both sold properties (+2%) and total sales volume (+2.1%). Communities within Eagle County excelled in different areas as well. Bachelor Gulch, a small neighborhood just outside of the Beaver Creek Resort, saw the largest increase in average property price out of all of Eagle County. For the time period between January and September of this year, the average price for homes in this area was approximately $2,783,889, compared to $2,099,000 in the same time frame of 2018.
