The same care Giorgetti takes in the production of its furniture is offered to its clients in the Giorgetti Atelier, a conceptual space where the classic showroom has been replaced with a reproduction of an elegant home environment, furnished with Giorgetti pieces. In this way the company depicts a piece of real life, where all the design elements come together. The Giorgetti Atelier, besides representing a sensorial experience, inviting the public into Giorgetti’s world on a privileged stage, an intimate and domestic one, is a place where the company can design interiors which are in line with contemporary life styles. The first Giorgetti Atelier was opened in 2011 in Milan in a 500 square metre apartment in a building in via Serbelloni. Giorgetti Ateliers were then opened in Mumbai, Cologne, Antwerp, Singapore, Saint Petersburg, Kiev and Jakarta.

O
n the occasion of IMM 2015 in Cologne, the most important European furniture exhibition took place from 19th to 25th January 2015, Giorgetti opens the doors of its Atelier in Kaiser-Wilhelm-Ring 30-32 to present the new designs created by collaboration with prestigious names in international contemporary design. A unique and exclusive location, capable of summarizing the philosophy of living proposed by Giorgetti, it offers visitors an exclusive story of today’s habitat. Three installations created with monumental panels in three finishes furnish the entrance windows of Giorgetti Atel-

ier in Cologne as though they were conceptual architectural wings and symbolize a journey in the history of furnishing and of the company. In the 500 square metres of the Giorgetti Atelier, covering two floors, the various domestic settings are outlined, in a rarefied and welcoming atmosphere with pieces designed by Rossella Pugliatti, Roberto Lazzeroni, Carlo Colombo and Chi Wing Lo and others. Different materials meet in a balanced game of contrasts, with natural colours, from sand to grey-blue, via the warm tones of ochre and tobacco.

iorgetti launched the first Ukrainian Giorgetti Atelier in Kiev in 2013 in partnership with Davis Casa, one of the main furniture stores in the city. The Giorgetti Atelier in Kiev furnished on the top floor of one of the historical buildings in Vladimirskaya St, in the cultural heart of the city, not far from the Opera house and the Golden Gate, the symbol of Kiev. iorgetti takes centre stage in Jakarta with the first Atelier in the Indonesian capital, where it has decided to open a new showroom of the latest conception thanks to the partnership with PT. Prodotti Indonesia. The Atelier was inaugurated with an exclusive event on 5th June 2014 thanks to the support of Elle Decoration Indonesia and the magazine Spirito diVino Asia which offered the best of Italian excellence also from the point of view of wine, with the prestigious white wines of the La Scolca winery.
In the Jakarta Giorgetti Atelier, the pieces of furniture dialogue with one another in a refined and exclusive domestic dimension, to offer ideas and suggestions of style that best meet the personal needs of private clients and architects, but also buyers and developers. The collections are placed in personalized displays with natural colours, made even warmer thanks to textile elements and soft lighting which exalt the welcoming mood. It is an apartment of two floors where the Diana armchairs, the Fabula sofa and Mobius chairs, the Fang table but also the sinuous Hug armchairs come to life and define the new trends in contemporary furniture.

Open since 1913, The Georgian has collaborated with bespoke interior designer, Christopher Guy Harrison, who has utilized skill and craftsmanship to give the inherently iconic restaurant a fresh new look. Seeking inspiration from the elegance of the 1920s and 1930s, the room fuses modernism and classicism to create the perfect environment for guests. Christopher Guy has produced over 500 bespoke pieces for The Georgian. Highlights include the carved wood silver leafed panels reproducing the Harrods façade as well as mosaic features that house over 130,000 individual pieces. News 2014 A&D TROPHY AWARDS FOR DESIGN MVW
The products designed by the Chinese-French duo Design MVW, namely Virginie Moriette and Xu Ming, in particular the chest of drawers Yang, have received the Certificate of Excellence of the 2014 A&D Trophy Awards as “Product Design�. Selection was by an international jury of great experts from all over the world who took part in
the ceremony on 11th December 2014 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center. Created in 2004 by the Hong Kong-based magazine of design and architecture Perspective, A&D Trophy Awards celebrates excellence in Architecture, Interior Design and Product Design.

Imm Cologne began on Monday, 19 and closed its doors on Sunday, 25 January with a positive outcome for Natuzzi Italia, which proved itself again to be the most recognizable interior design brand among consumers of luxury goods. More than 146.000 visitors from 138 countries came to the Cologne exhibition grounds, a great opportunity to show the new Collection to a large audience. Three new models - Dorian, Don Giovanni and Fidelio enriched the sofa collection, while Dolce Vita, the imposing bed with a classic yet highly distinctive look stand out among the bed collection, on its debut on the German market. Great appreciation for the living room offerings also - Kubika, the modular equipped wall born from the creativity of the architect Pierangelo Sciuto, achieved big success among visitors.

MISURAEMME AT INTERIOR MEBEL KIEV
The first International trade fair appointment for MisuraEmme is Interior Mebel in Kiev ran from 18 to 21 February 2015, an event at which the brand exhibited collections that symbolize the Italian style worldwide. For MisuraEmme, the Kiev trade fair event marks a return to the Ukraine market and an opportunity to highlight some of its most successful collections. The company is presenting several interior décor solutions on a stand of around 70 sq metres, played out between innovation and tradition. The first proposal is a dining room whose centrepiece is a most original table reminiscent of the 50’s: its name, Ala (Italian for wing), derives from the leg section resembling an airplane wing. The table is surrounded by refined Cleo chairs and is teamed up with the elegant Nibbio sideboard.

The protagonists of the bedroom interior are Sumo, an invitingly comfortable bed, and the Brillanta wardrobe with its play of light and mirrors. There is no shortage of living room solutions: the Antibes sectional sofa, light and understated, furnishes a comfortable and cosy area together with the Kessler side table, with its marble top and metal base. To create the atmosphere of a small lounge, Opera armchairs are coordinated with Hill side tables, characterized by a striking T-shaped base. Last but not least it’s the presentation of the British sofa and Ermes armchair, teamed up with the Crossing Teka wall system, whose appeal lies in the alternated use of shelves, wall units with folding flaps and three-dimensional glass doors.
