Hello Fellow Cattlemen, Friends, and Neighbors, We would like to start by welcoming each of you to our 2nd Annual Central Oregon Cattlemen’s Fall Classic! As we promised, this year’s offering is stronger than ever and we plan on building upon this progress for many years to come. As we strive to become the source for Red Angus Genetics in the Northwest, we are pleased to be able to offer a piece of this progress in this sale. Just the same as last year, we are fortunate to have two great sale partners—Dunn’s Double Eagle Ranch and Pitchfork Red Angus. They are both close neighbors with very well established programs and above all, they are our friends. In the past year we have continued to grow each of our programs and improve our genetic base in the cow herd. As that has occurred, we are able to increase the quality in this year’s sale. When it comes down to the time to select sale lots, we really dig right into the middle of our replacements to select bred heifers that upon your inspection, we believe you’ll be well pleased. In addition to the bred heifers, we have dipped into our cow herd to bring you some of the very cows our programs were built upon. The bred cows in our sale have a place in any program. We feel our planned mating, and both hard work and dedication to the Red Angus breed have come together in this year’s sale to offer you the buyer, a chance to take advantage of real “genetic lead-time!” Please join us Saturday, October 18th for a gathering of great people, even better cattle, and the best sale day meal you will find all Fall.
