Bismarck, ND is served by bus and major airlines, with direct flights from Minneapolis, Denver, Chicago and Las Vegas. Early reservations are recommended for flights and rental cars. The surrounding towns of Fargo, Minot and Dickinson also have air service. Schaff Angus Valley is located 30 minutes from the Bismarck airport, sale headquarters and shopping mall. Buyers unable to attend the sale may call or send their bids to the owner, Kelly Schaff or to Bob Watkins, sales staff or fieldman. Schaff Angus Valley is retaining one-third revenue sharing semen interest in every bull selling in this sale. Full possession and full salvage value sells on all bulls unless otherwise noted.

FREE NATIONWIDE DELIVERY
Schaff Angus Valley is offering free nationwide delivery on bulls to sale barns and central stockyard points.
The sale offering is guaranteed to be fertile and reproductively sound in accordance with the terms and conditions as recommended by the American Angus Association. If a problem occurs, the buyer is responsible to return the animal to SAV and will have the option to select a suitable replacement if available or take a sale credit. Any potential claim needs to be made by September 1st of the year of purchase.
TERMS: Terms of sale are cash or check. All cattle must be settled for at the conclusion of the auction. Cattle will not be released from the sale premises until payment is received in full. Bulls that are not settled for in full within 7 days of the auction are not eligible for the free delivery.
GENETIC RECESSIVES The sale offering is free of all known genetic defects and recessives as monitored by the American Angus Association.
HEALTH: All cattle will be accompanied by proper health certificates for shipment and have had a complete vaccination program.
INSURANCE:

Insurance will be available sale day. It is recommended that buyers insure their purchases for safe delivery. Purchaser assumes the risk of death or injury to their livestock immediately after the sale.
We ask buyers to please be willing to travel to central drop points and meet trucks at sale barns along central routes. Drop points need to be consolidated to make delivery feasible and avoid cattle in transit too long. SAV will coordinate delivery on females if the buyer desires, however the cost is the buyer’s responsibility. Canadian and Mexican purchases will be available to pickup at the ranch following the completion of health testing requirements and delivery arrangements are the buyer’s responsibility.
Schaff Angus Valley assumes no liability for accidents or injuries that occur on the sale premises. Potential claims of any kind must be settled in North Dakota Morton County Court.
LIABILITY:
SALE ORDER: The bulls will be sold in sire groups. This is to aid customers in selecting brothers to produce a more uniform calfcrop. As a result, bulls of consistent quality will sell throughout the duration of the auction. A sale order will be available prior to the auction.
