Dear Live Oak Community, As I reflect on the 22/23 school year, I am thrilled to share the remarkable strides we've made in shaping the future of our school. Our commitment to Live Oak’s Strategic Directions has been instrumental in envisioning a dynamic future deeply connected to our campus and the vibrant Potrero Hill community. This past school year, the Board initiated critical work to envision the future of our school’s campus; this work is both inspiring and pivotal. Through collaborative efforts and extensive dialogue, we're developing a framework that aligns our growth with the values of our community and the aspirations of our students. The vision for a gym, performing space, and just a place to gather as a whole resides not just in our dreams. To formalize this vision, the Board will think creatively and strategically on how to increase and mobilize the Futures Fund to act on opportunities that may arise. Zooming into the current needs, Committee work is instrumental in guiding resources and expertise to strengthen our academic program each year. The DEI Committee launched Family Affinity Networks, which cultivate not just a sense of belonging and inclusion but also a culture of joy within our community. Opportunities to gather unite us in our shared values and experiences. The Building & Grounds Committee continued to work on projects to ensure the safety of our campus. The Advancement Committee built on the excitement of our 50th Year to continue our school’s strong culture of philanthropy; last year’s gifts and donations to the school exceeded $1 million. These contributions are a reflection of the expertise and leadership of our trustees. Our most sincere appreciation to Hanmin Lee and Arleigh Giroux for their service. We look forward to working with our new trustees Sam Hong, Cory Mickels, and Audrey Soriano. Looking ahead, our momentum propels us into an exciting phase of growth and innovation. With our continued dedication to strategic planning, unwavering support for our students, and a focus on nurturing our community bonds, we continue to deliver on the promise of our mission. I extend my deepest gratitude to each member of our community—faculty, staff, students, and families—for their unwavering dedication and commitment to our shared vision. On behalf of the Board of Trustees, thank you!

Sincerely,

Regina Eberhart President, Board of Trustees P ‘25

AT LIVE OAK, WE CELEBRATE EVERY DONOR'S INVALUABLE CONTRIBUTION TO CREATING THE MAGIC FOUND IN A LIVE OAK EDUCATION. Starting this year, Live Oak is excited to announce an update in our approach to recognizing our donors. We'll now be listing our generous supporters alphabetically only, without specific giving levels or amounts. This shift perfectly aligns with our deeply held belief in the power of philanthropy: every gift, regardless of size, holds tremendous meaning to us. In lieu of a giving level listing, we'll be sharing summary data that showcases how our families, grandparents, alumni, staff, and friends contribute to our culture of philanthropy. We're continually humbled and inspired by the choice our donors make in championing Live Oak in their philanthropic endeavors. Your commitment to our mission truly embodies visionary thinking—the kind of spirit that our world needs more of!
