Our region is losing more agricultural land compared to other parts of the province which is why it's so vital to help our local producers thrive. Without them, our environment and food sustainability suffers.
For a convenient shopping experience, our online food hub allows consumers to purchase from more than one vendor at a time. All products will be from the Killick Coast, including food and horticulture producers and more.
Orders will be taken bi-weekly, packed in a food-safe environment and with multiple pick-up locations to choose from, it couldn’t be easier to shop local! You order, we tell the farmers/producers what you need and they get it to us.
And since we all get busy, we make it easier for people to contribute to the Northeast Avalon Food Bank by allowing them to add a donation to their shopping cart

We’re the Killick Coast Agriculture Network which is a volunteer group of home gardeners, farmers, residents and other partners. In keeping with recommendations of the Killick Coast Agriculture Strategic Plan conducted by the Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s Chamber of Commerce with supports from the Federal government, we are launching this online food hub among other initiatives.
Sharing a passion and commitment for restoring the relationship between healthy food consumption, food growing, protecting our limited agricultural lands and helping our agri-businesses thrive, we are a non-profit dedicated to the social and economic success of the entire region. .
Thank you for taking the time to consider helping us launch this food hub. Together, we can ensure this serves our residents well for years to come.
