THE MOVE-IN PROCESS:

What Should I Expect on the Day Of?

Moving in can be exciting but also a bit hectic! Like you, many other students are moving into the community and needing assistance We appreciate you taking the time to read this and plan ahead, as well as your patience and flexibility!

Important Dates:
  • July 31: Last day to submit an Early Move-In Request (Brottier & St Martin only)

  • Aug. 21-22: Brottier Move-In

  • Aug. 22-23: St Martin Move-In

  • Aug. 23-25: Forbes Move-In

Staff will be available to assist during the hours of 9:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. on your building’s move in dates. If you cannot move in during this timeframe, please contact our office to let us know so we can better assist you!

To Do Prior to Move In:

We welcome residents to begin their move in on or after their lease starts (unless approved for an early arrival).

For Cart Registration:

Residents are encouraged to reserve a cart to assist with the move in process Slots fill up quickly so plan accordingly! Carts are not guaranteed unless pre-registered.

Each timeframe has limited availability based on carts available Carts must be returned no later than 1.5 hours after the completion of their move-in session.

Residents must follow the instruction of DU Safety regarding parking.

TL;DR... For a successful Move-In, please ensure that you have successfully completed your Digital Key Agreement, reserved a Move-In Cart in advance (optional, but recommended), and that any guests bring Government-Issued Photo Identification.
