Winnick House is the historic intellectual hub of LIU Post’s prestigious Honors College. Formerly the Gold Coast home of Marjorie Merriweather Post, who built her father’s cereal company into the largest food corporation in the U.S., Winnick House is where you will chart your own path to success. You’ll come together with the faculty and your fellow students for study, conversation, and a variety of intellectual and cultural events in a truly beautiful setting. The lounge in Winnick House is a place to study, hold meetings, view student art, relax, and meet friends.

Students are responsible for launching and managing daily operations of a retail store as well as marketing the business to students, faculty, staff, and other members of the LIU Post community. Half of all profits support LIU scholarships while the other half helps to fund future student-run enterprises.
