Welcome to Parsons House Nursery opening in January 2024!

We are thrilled to have successfully opened our first nursery and we are excited about the prospect of having you join our Nursery family.

At Parsons House, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing and vibrant environment for your child. Our four core values are at the heart of everything we do, ensuring that your child receives the best care and education possible.

We understand that choosing the right nursery for your child is a crucial decision, and we want to assure you that at Parsons House, we are committed to helping every child learn and grow in a loving and nurturing ‘home from home’ environment.

Our experienced and dedicated staff are here to provide a safe and stimulating space where your child can flourish. We believe in fostering independence and self-confidence in our little learners, allowing them to explore their curiosities and develop their unique personalities.

Mission statement

Parsons House Nursery provides an excellent foundation on which every child can begin and build upon their learning journey. They learn within a secure, nurturing and stimulating environment where they feel included, valued and safe.

Through a programme of learning, underpinned by warm and respectful relationships, we celebrate the cultures, interests and abilities of each individual child. We aim to inspire our children to be curious, adventurous, imaginative, and creative, developing a lifelong love of learning. We achieve this by tailoring our curriculum to the individual needs of our children.

We encourage our children to be actively involved with learning, have a go, take measured risks, make mistakes, learn, and do their best.

Values

At Parsons House Nursery we believe in nurturing our children with important values that will shape their character and future. We instil four core values into them: Fun, Individuality, Independence, and Kindness. These values are the foundation of their personal growth and development.

To support children’s understanding of each value and how to embody them, we have created unique characters called ‘Our Valuable Friends’. We actively teach these values by providing the children with engaging stories about Kindness Kangaroo, Independent Iguana, Individual Insect and Fun Flamingo!

We understand the significance of positive reinforcement in shaping behaviour. That’s why our dedicated staff takes every opportunity to praise and acknowledge children when they demonstrate these values. This encouragement not only boosts their confidence but also reinforces the importance of these core principles.

Curriculum

By aligning our curriculum with the EYFS framework, we ensure that children make excellent progress in all areas of their development. From communication and language skills to physical development, our tailored approach caters to each child’s unique needs and abilities.

We understand that every child is different, which is why our curriculum focuses on individualized learning experiences. Through a combination of interactive activities, play-based learning, and nurturing environments, we create an atmosphere where children can thrive and reach their full potential.

Parent partnerships

We are thrilled to share with you, our wonderful parents, how we celebrate and monitor the achievements of your children. Our dedicated staff members carefully plan a range of activities based on each child’s next steps in their learning journey. We share a range of photographs, observations and assessments through our Family app.

Our goal is to create a partnership with you, as parents, so that together we can support your child’s growth and development. We believe that by sharing these experiences with you, we can celebrate the milestones and progress your child makes every step of the way.

Future schools

In a city as dynamic and diverse as London, navigating the complexities of school admissions can be overwhelming. That’s why we are here to lend a helping hand. Our dedicated team is committed to providing you with the guidance and support you need to make informed decisions about your child’s education.

From understanding the different types of schools available to finding the best fit for your child’s needs, we are here every step of the way. With our expertise and knowledge of the London school system, we can help guide you towards local schools that align with your family’s values and aspirations.

FEES

Part time (anything less than 5 days) Under 3s: £110 Full time under 3s: £100

Part time (anything less than 5 days) Over 3s: £107 Full time Over 3s: £96

We currently accept 15 and 30 hour funding for 3-4 year olds. If you have any questions, please speak to a member of staff who would be happy to help

Important information

Opening hours: 7:30-18:00, Monday Friday

Nursery is closed on Bank

Holidays & for one week between Christmas & New Year.

When it comes to our fees, we believe in providing comprehensive care for your little one. Our package includes breakfast, lunch, tea, snacks, nappies, wipes, milk and water. We want to ensure that your baby’s needs are fully met throughout the day.

It’s important to note that while our fees cover a wide range of necessities, we do not include formula milk as this is a personal choice specific to your baby. We want to respect each family’s individual preferences when it comes to feeding their little ones.
