This could be Wellsville’s year SCHOOL: Wellsville Tigers. 2012-13 RECORD: 21-4, including a 12-2 record in the Inter-Tri County League lower tier. The Tigers shared the league title with McDonald. Their four losses were by 13 total points and they were 11-0 at home. HEAD COACH: David Thompson is in his 10th season as head coach with a record of 119-40. He was the Columbiana County Co-Coach of the Year. He previously coached 15 years at Wellsville at various levels. ASSISTANT COACHES: Lonnie Fields (junior varsity), John Stoakes (assistant coach), Jason Carter (freshman). RETURNING LETTERWINNERS: Eight, including all five starters. RETURNING VARSITY PLAYERS: Nate Scott (6-0 senior guard, three-year letterwinner), Seth Bradford (6-2 senior guard, two-year letterwinner), Camden Douglas (6-4 senior forward, two-year letterwinner), Jordan Sloan (6-1 senior guard, two-year letterwinner), Antonio Fultz (6-4 senior forward, one-year letterwinner), Brendon Carr (6-0 senior guard, twoyear letterwinner), Jansen Stoakes (6-4 senior forward, one-year letterwinner), Sam Macintosh (6-1 senior guard, oneyear letterwinner).
