tions such as Das Reisch, Tennerhof and Hotel Seebichl. What pleases him is that the restaurants of the mostly family-run hotels are visited with particular pleasure by the locals. Sammy Salm also found soothing words of balsam for the breakfast pensions, the B&Bs, the hostels. For they are the operations that beckon to one and all, they open the doors to young people and middle-class families who want to spend a vacation in Kitzbühel. Examples representative of this category are the stylish Roomie Alps, the Eggerwirt and the now almost legendary Villa Licht. In the final analysis, this tourism pro places enormous emphasis on something else: “Category and Quality are firmly joined in lock-step. There are no exceptions, no ‘rotten eggs’.”
