EMSA Medic Gives Patient Invaluable Gift Charisse Paul hadn’t left her home since April 23. Charisse is in a wheelchair and had no ramp to give her safe access outdoors. That is, until medic Harrison Walker and his partner responded to an emergency call from her home. Harrison transported her to the hospital but couldn’t forget about her. Harrison went back to build Charisse a handicap ramp from her front door to her driveway. Harrison spent his own money and volunteered his time and skills. Charisse says she will never forget the kindness of Harrison Walker. Harrison epitomizes the goodness that it takes to become an EMSA medic.

EMSA medic Harrison Walker built Charisse Paul a ramp so she can access the outdoors again.
