THE HISTORY OF GAMESTOP
Gamestop traces back all the way to Babbage. Babbage’s was a Dallas, Texas software retailer. The company was founded in 1984. They quickly started focusing on game sales. Eventually Babbage’s merged with a company called Software Etc.. Software Etc, is a computer software company. Software Etc, and Babbage’s merged to make Neo star. In 1994. This was short lived as NeoStar was bought over 1996.
Still in 1996 Babbage’s Etc. this was just a rebirth of Babbage’s. This was ended three years later. Babbage’s was bought over by Barnes and Noble in 1999. During this time Barnes and Noble acquired a magazine called Game Informer. Eventually in 2004 Barnes and Noble took their gaming side and transferred it to a different store. Their gaming branched was renamed Gamestop which is now the name of the store. Finally, we get to the Gamestop that we have today.

Walmart is an American multinational store. They sell everything at Walmart. From hot dogs to tvĹ› to vacuums to furniture. Walmart is so great because itĹ› a place where you could get anything you could ever need. You can even meet people there! There are over 5,000 Wal-Marts in the world. They made $482.1 billion dollars last year. The owners have made over 100 billion dollars off of Wal-Mart. I hope Walmart continues to keep selling great stuff.
NIKE BY KYAH Nike is a very popular shoe store. They don’t just sell shoes. They sell socks, shoes, sport wear clothes, backpack, footballs, basketballs etc. They are rated five stars by many customers. They are very popular for middle and high school students. The students really like them because they think they are very stylish and comfortable. Their customer service is very good. If you need anything they will be welcome to help you. The most popular shoe now is huaraches. People really like these shoes. They like these shoes because they are stylish and come in many colors. Plus they are very comfortable. I recommend these shoes to anyone. 5
TARGET ALEXA Target is one of those stores where you can find anything. Literally anything. They have everything from clothes and accessories to food and furniture. The only bad thing about this store is that when you go, and you need help, there aren’t many people around you to help you. On another good note, Target’s items are very good quality and they aren’t very expensive. Another thing is that once you finally find someone to help you, they are very nice.
