Occasionally, if your Kodak printer is showing an error message is “Out of Ink” that causes due to a cartridge is having low level of ink. It will not print until it recognizes a low-level ink cartridge.
If you want to refill an ink cartridge for continue printing, or you want to override such message, then you must recycle or reset the cartridge. In such a case, you can use specific chip cartridge re-setters that help you to know about the cartridge is refill properly or not, you can also know that the cartridge is empty or not. You simply need to follow the process hierarchy to refill or override ink cartridge. 1. Open the Kodak printer from cover. Pull out the ink cartridges from the printer. 2. Clean the ink cartridges using a cotton ball and alcohol to remove ink traces from the metal connectors. Wait for a minute after rubbing alcohol to dry on the cartridge. 3. Put the ink cartridge into the chip re-setter. 4. Push and hold the button that placed on the chip re-setter topside for three seconds to reorganize the counter. It shows a green light that notifies the ink cartridge has been reset. 5. Take out the cartridge from the chip re-setter and place it back into the printer. It should identify whether the cartridge is filled completely and you can try for test printing.
