Environmental Commitment As a market leader, LINPAC Packaging feel it is very important to set the standard in our industry for all the issues associated with being a corporately responsible company. Environmental Performance We focus on the light-weighting of our products to minimise the quantity of plastic used in our foam and rigid trays and have achieved over a 20% material reduction since 2010 through our LIFE® (LIghtweighting For Excellence) programme. All this whilst maintaining the packs' performance, meeting the increasing efficiency demands of our packer and retailer customers.

At LINPAC Packaging we: Reduce energy consumption through optimum weight packaging Prevent double-handling of goods by direct deliveries to depots wherever possible Produce no significant waste in our manufacturing systems Recycle water through a closed loop production system Transport full loads wherever possible with optimised delivery diaries to minimise energy usage Use high levels of recycled PET (rPET) in production of trays and punnets Drive towards zero waste to landfill status at several LINPAC sites
Product Stewardship & Safety As a company at the forefront of pack safety in the food industry, where hygiene and product safety are of paramount importance, we have pushed up utilisation of Post Consumer Recyclate in our rigid trays and have invested significant capital in “super cleaning” technology for the recyclates across our manufacturing network.
