Throughout the school holiday periods we offer a range of activities for 4-14 year olds to introduce young people to the exciting world of outdoor pursuits. Our activities range from single hour taster sessions for younger children to 2 day courses and activity programmes designed to teach the skills and techniques required for National Governing Body qualifications. All of the junior activities and course are run in line with National Governing Body guidelines with emphasis on having fun and learning in a safe environment.

These sessions are an ideal introduction to watersports and a great way for younger children to build water confidence.

Multi Activity for 7-14 year olds

Running during the school holidays over three days Multi Activity sessions are an ideal introduction to outdoor pursuits. Activities include sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, raft building, mountain biking and climbing.

First Step Course for 7-10 year olds A course designed as an introduction to either Sailing or Kayaking.

Youth Qualification Courses for 10-14 year olds These National Governing Body courses offer training in the basic skills and theory of your chosen sport, working towards the relevant qualifications.

Summer Tennis Camp

Fun tennis coaching sessions for ages 5-14 years, consisting of 3 days of skills practice which will lead up to a competition day on day 4. Prizes and trophies to be won. All children receive a medal and certificate for attending. All equipment provided, suitable clothing must be worn – no jeans or denim.

Summer Rugby Camp Working in partnership with Rochdale Hornets Sporting Foundation, young people this summer will be offered the chance to take part in an exciting Rugby League Camp. Tennis Summer Camps

Prizes to be won

Learn new skills and compete in mini tournaments, with our tennis coaching courses for ages 5-14 years.

Five days of tennis fun - 4 days of learning skills with fun competitions on the Friday of each week. All children will receive a medal and certificate for attending.

Suitable sports clothing (no jeans or denim) and suitable footwear, i.e. trainers, must be worn on the courts at all times. Tennis equipment will be provided. If the weather is cold please ensure your child has warm clothing. Light refreshments will be provided but we advise you to bring a drink and snack.
