Sports Hall Opening Times Monday-Friday 6.30am-10.30pm Saturday 8am-6pm Sunday 8am-6pm Rochdale Leisure Centre has a four-court sports hall available for a wide range of indoor sports. These include badminton, short-mat bowls, cricket, tennis, basketball, netball and table tennis.

Group & Block Bookings Facilities available for daytime, evening and weekend use for casual, group and school bookings. Ten week block bookings are available on request with full payment at time of booking. Booking essential.

Bookings can be made up to 8 days in advance with payment at time of booking. Further details of our booking policy are available from Reception.

Equipment Hire Badminton racquets, table tennis bats and balls are available for hire. Shuttlecocks are available to buy. Ask for details of equipment available on sale.

Fitness Opening Times Monday-Friday 6.30am-10.30pm Saturday 8am-6pm Sunday 8am-6pm Rochdale Leisure Centre has a large fitness suite with over 120 stations that includes cardio and resistance equipment, free weights, vibration training and stretch areas.

Fitness Classes There is an extensive range of cardio, conditioning, holistic and dance classes, including pool sessions, with something for all abilities. Pick up a copy of our latest Fitness Class Timetable or visit our website for full details. Activity Gym This gym provides an additional area for people with specific health needs, and sessions for ladies only, over 50s, youth fitness and group bookings. Details from the centre or online.

All users must complete an induction.

Membership Options Link4Life Fitness offers a range of all-inclusive memberships from £22.99 a month.

Each gives you access to our fully equipped fitness suite with swimming, relaxation area, aquatics and fitness sessions, as available at any of our four centres in Heywood, Middleton, Rochdale and Littleborough, plus casual use of the running track at Kingsway Park Sports Centre.

Aquatics Opening Times Monday-Friday 6.30am-10pm Saturday 8am-5pm Sunday 8am-4pm Rochdale Leisure Centre has an eight lane 25 metre pool, a 17 metre small pool with moveable floor and spectator seating. In the modern changing village there are male and female changing areas with additional group and family changing facilities.

Pool Timetable Link4Life Aquatics provides a full and varied pool programme that offers a mixture of fitness and fun and includes sessions for children and families, over 50s, women only and people with disabilities. Link4Life Swim Academy The Link4Life Swim Academy provides swimming teaching for 3 years upwards to the highest standards in the UK with the internationally recognised Swimming Teachers Association (STA)

Learn to Swim programme Registration on the programme entitles the participating child to free swimming during public sessions. Easy payment by Direct Debit available. Lessons also available for adults and babies and toddlers. Further information available from Reception.

Thermal Suite This high quality facility, accessed via the pool changing area, includes two steam rooms, sauna cabin, drench shower and mood lighting with water wall feature. Male only and Female only sessions are available. At all other times sessions are Mixed and open to both men and women (Minimum age 14 years). Rochdale Leisure Centre is located two minutes from Rochdale town centre with convenient bus services throughout the Manchester region. By car, Rochdale is approx ten minutes from the M62 (Junction 20).

Access Rochdale Leisure Centre is fully accessible to all public areas with lift to the upper floor. Customers are invited to discuss any special needs. There is free on-site customer parking (time restricted) with disabled and family parking bays available. Car park access is from Entwisle Road.
