THE CHERNOBYL CHILDREN’S LIFE LINE Founded in 1991 to help the children affected by the Chernobyl disaster. The Blackpool Link meet on the 1st Thursday and 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Miller Arms, Singleton. Meetings start at 7:45pm. New members are most welcome to join our friendly group.

POULTON THURSDAY CIRCLE (Originally Poulton Arts and Crafts) was formed 32 years ago. We have met in various venues in Poulton, the old British Legion Hall, then the WRVS room on Queensway and now we meet in a lovely room at the United Reform Church also on Queensway. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays in the month at 1.45 pm, with 3 evening meetings in the summer months. In Spring and Summer our first meeting of the month is usually an outing by car or coach. Our Birthday and Christmas meals are special events. Our other meetings are speakers or social events. We are a friendly group of approximately 30 ladies and new members would be most welcolme of any age group.
