A SUCCESSFUL SIX MONTHS
FOR THE HAMPTONS It’s just six months since The Hamptons, Lytham St Annes’ state-of-the-art ‘new generation’ care facility opened, and the centre is going from strength-tostrength with a vibrant community of new residents, exceptional team of carers and exciting programme of daily events and activities. Following a £12.5m million investment, The Hamptons, which is located off Heyhouses Lane (behind Booths), was officially opened in September last year by its first resident Joan Wightman and the Mayor and Mayoress of Fylde, John and Geraldine Singleton.
The residents and carers have quickly formed firm friendships and the home has its own charming and close-knit community that focuses on enjoying each and every day and sharing smiles and laughter. The Mayor of Fylde, Councillor John Singleton JP, said: “It was an absolute pleasure to visit The Hamptons and I am honoured to have officially opened this superb care facility, alongside the delightful Joan Wightman. The care home is like a hotel; inviting, stylish and very comfortable, while the team at The Hamptons is inspiring. I wish all the residents and the staff all the very best for the future.” Mark Menzies MP also visited the facility, he added: “Making sure we have the facilities to look after the aspiring needs of our ageing population is a key priority for me and I was really impressed by the facilities, as well as the friendly and professional team. I very much support the progressive approach to the provision of care offered by New Care and I wish them well at The Hamptons.” Operated by New Care,The Hamptons is an expertly designed, 76-bed facility that provides the highest standards of safety, comfort and care. It offers high quality, person-centred care and an exceptional clinical offering, including residential, nursing and specialist dementia care services.
