THORNTON LADIES CLUB OCTOBER 2010: Wednesday October 20th was a Christmas Shopping Extravaganza and involved a number of local ladies offering their products for sale. It was an ideal opportunity to get Christmas shopping done early and to support local women who work hard and proved to be a great success. Wednesday November 17th is a ‘fun evening’ with a twist; ‘CSI Thornton’ will be an opportunity to bring along an unusual object for us to guess its use? Don’t worry if you don’t have one – come and join the fun anyway. Don’t forget Wednesday 15th December will be our Christmas party – food, company and entertainment................ all ladies are welcome, the food list is already making progress. Location of meetings for the rest of this year: St John’s Church Hall, Stanah from 7.30pm Entrance £2.00 includes refreshments.
