Welcome The content displayed in this edition very much reflects the School as it was and as it is now. Lingfield College certainly has a real sense of purpose, supported by amazing teachers, fantastic pupils and now a loyal Alumni. From a very small beginning, OLs are increasing in numbers, from pupils who attended when the School was a convent back in the 1940s, to pupils who knew it as Lingfield Notre Dame, to those who left recently when it changed to Lingfield College. The one thing they all have in common is their fond memories of Lingfield, from working in the classroom, participating in sports or taking part in drama productions. Most pupils are still great friends with those they met at Lingfield. Be it from the first day at nursery or the first day at the senior school, the friendships have stood the test of time and remain strong. Best wishes Nigel Harrison Head of Boys Games/Alumni
Editor This is the first edition of the OLs Newsletter, and it is thanks to the hardwork and willingness of its contributors who have offered an insight into their lives since leaving Lingfield. The edition also shows how the School has progressed and changed over the years. If you would like to contribute to a future edition, please do not hesitate to contact me on the details below. Best wishes Susan Roe Alumni Secretary
