Thank you, Lindon City residents, for making this community outstanding. From east to west and north to south, this community may be small in size, but we are large in the individual characteristics that make communities great. I love Lindon City! It is a wonderful place to live and work. I am so thankful to live near so many wonderful people that make up the jewel of Utah County.
The Lindon Days celebration week starts off Monday evening, Aug. 7, 2017, with our famous free Car Show. Also this week we are having a free ice cream social and outdoor movie on Tuesday; Huck Finn fishing on Wednesday; and a free swim day, flag retirement ceremony
and open horse show on Thursday. On Friday we have scheduled the Mini Rodeo and Video Game Tournament, all leading to Saturday with the free kids fair, concert and fireworks show. There are events all week, so I encourage you to look at the schedule and participate in each fun event this year. The Lindon Days staff and volunteers have worked hard to bring you another great celebration filled with activities for all interests and age groups.
Lindon Days provides us a opportunity to gather, enjoy each other’s company and reinforce our strong community spirit. Come out and participate and see your friends and neighbors as well as make new
How will the City look tomorrow? Give your feedback through the Lindon City General Plan Survey! Scanning the QR code above or typing the link below into your web browser allows you to participate in the future vision of our community. Lindon City has a ‘General Plan’ document that consists of goals, policies, and maps intended to help guide the future development of the city for the next 20 to 50 years. The document is periodically updated to ensure adequate planning for the future. Your responses will be incorporated into the latest version of the Plan. The survey should take about 15 minutes to complete. Thank you! http://www.lindoncity.org/lindon-city-general-plan.htm
My initial surgery did not proceed as planned and was cancelled because of my high blood pressure. I’m appreciative of the time my surgeon spent evaluating my condition and explaining the situation to me. I was confident in his medical knowledge and trusted the decision was the best for my health. The surgery eventually took place, and the recovery has gone better than expected. I’ve returned to regular activities and work. It gave me back my life. American Fork Hospital is my family’s hospital.

Queen Laynie Allred is 12 years old. She is the daughter of Jared and Sarah Allred. She has lived in Lindon for the past eight years and loves it! Laynie loves dancing, reading, playing the flute and hanging out with her friends and family. Her dreams for the future include studying to be a lawyer, dental hygienist and dancer and becoming a mom. For her service project she taught a dance class for kids with special needs so they could enjoy dance in a comfortable environment and receive special attention every Saturday in February. She would like to thank Lindon City for the amazing opportunity to be Little Miss Lindon. She has loved being able to serve in the community and represent Lindon City.
Bailey Tucker is 13 years old, attends Oak Canyon Junior High School and is the daughter of Greg and Maria Tucker. Bailey is an accomplished gymnast and clogger; she has been named seven times to the National All-American Team in dance and trains five days a week as a level 8/9 gymnast. Bailey also loves baking cupcakes, playing fiddle/ violin and ukulele, nail art, Michael Jackson, skiing, DIY crafts, babysitting, shopping and sleeping! For her service project, she teamed up with “Operation Christmas Child” to collect donations and shop for and assemble multiple Christmas boxes for needy children in South America. Bailey has a bright personality and is a light to all those around her.
Courtlyn Bunker is the 12-yearold daughter of Derek and Tatum Bunker. She attends Oak Canyon Junior High School where she is excited to learn Spanish and perform in school plays. Outside of school, Courtlyn is busy with too many hobbies to mention, but her favorites are soccer, gymnastics and dance. Over the last two years, she has also taught herself to play the ukulele masterfully! For her service project, Courtlyn repainted the faded markings on her school’s track including correcting the distance markers to show the accurate mileage. This project reflects Courtlyn’s love for running, both sprinting and long distance, and she can’t wait to join the junior high track team in the spring.
Drew Estrellita Clark is 12 years old and is the daughter of Grant and Gabby Clark. She will be attending Oak Canyon Junior High School this fall. Drew loves to play basketball, swim, sing and be around friends. She loves science and discovering new things and hopes to work in the medical field when she is older. For her service project, Drew raised money to purchase awareness wristbands for the Children’s Craniofacial Association “Choose Kind” campaign. She gave the bracelets out during presentations she gave at her school to teach kids about being kind to all. Since her sister has a craniofacial disorder and has facial differences, it is important to her that people treat others kindly.
Winnter Grace Nicholes is 12 years old and is the daughter of Lance and Jodi Nicholes. Winnter was born with a heart for service. She is the founder and creator of Girls Who Shine, a service organization for girls (Girlswhoshine. com). Winnter loves meeting new people and hearing their stories. She has an incredible sense of humor and an adventurous spirit and she loves Neil Diamond. Winnter is blessed with the gift of song and has been singing and performing most of her life. When Winnie sings, you feel it. Her voice touches the hearts of her listeners both old and young. She loves to try new things and appreciates a good DIY project. She dreams of performing on Broadway and would like to visit Paris one day.

They feel that Lindon is the ideal place to live and rear a family. The open space concept of Lindon continues to bless the lives of all who call Lindon home. They take pride in the quality of life that is found in our community. Scott has served two terms as a city councilman and one term as mayor of Lindon. Brenda and Scott served for more than 10 years as members of the Lindon Historical Committee.
He has served as a judge in the Utah County Justice Court for more than 20 years. Brenda taught kindergarten for 20 years at Sego Lily

Introducing Club Rock, the band that dance crowds are going crazy for. Delivering explosive dance music with energy and style is what it’s all about for this hot party band. With a welldeserved reputation for firing up crowds and filling the dance floor with their incredible live performance skills, this is one in-demand live band.
Club Rock is a well-oiled machine, pumping out a continuous flow of dance hits from beginning to end, playing everything from today’s current chart-busting radio hits to yesterday’s favorites. There’s no lull in the party once they take the stage, giving it their all to the delight of audiences everywhere.
The group consists of eight members, each hand-selected for their unique musical and performance talents, which when combined form a powerful and spirited band. With extraordinary vocalists and killer musicians from top to bottom, more than their fair share of personality and high-stepping, in-sync dance moves, this is one hot band that knows how to rock a party.
