A Letter from Philip: Communication The holidays are here again, what an incredible year we have had celebrating Lincoln Property Company’s 50th anniversary. As a team, you have accomplished a lot together to make Lincoln Military Housing (LMH) better, thank you. One of the challenges that we all face each day is taking time to listen to our fellow LMH teammates about challenges they are having at work, and sharing with them what we are struggling with to fulfill our mission. Often times we work side by side, not knowing that our co-worker has an answer or an approach that might make our day go easier. By the same token, when we keep information to ourselves, we miss the opportunity to give someone else that gift of ease or efficiency in executing their role.

“His cardinal mistake is that he isolates himself and allows nobody to see him; and by which he does not know what is going on in the very matter he is dealing with.” – Abraham Lincoln after relieving Gen. Fremont, 1861
Lincoln saw isolation as a weakness and sought to insure that his military leaders were openly communicating with the men they served with each and every day. That is our goal and a core value: the better we communicate with each other, the faster we can all get better together and successfully deliver on our mission of exemplary service to our extraordinary residents. I hope that you are able to enjoy some time with your family and friends this holiday season! – Philip Rizzo Vice President of Operations Philip Rizzo is the Vice President of Operations for LMH and is responsible for the overall management and daily operations. As a former soldier and son of an officer, Philip is committed to serving the men, women and families LMH is privileged enough to call our residents.
