PHYSICAL EDUCATION - STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

SUGGESTED MINORS

Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialists are professionals who apply foundational knowledge to assess, motivate, educate, and train athletes for the primary goal of improving sport performance.

They conduct sport-specific testing sessions, design and implement safe and effective strength training and conditioning programs, and provide guidance for athletes in nutrition and injury prevention.

Jobs in the field of strength and conditioning are expected to increase by 15% between now and 2030. Limestone’s accredited degree program in strength and conditioning is designed to prepare professionals who desire to work with athletes and in the private sector.

Fitness trainers and instructors working in business and public facilities earn a median income of approximately $40,000 per year.

People who work in athletic and strength and conditioning programs have the opportunity to do their work in a variety of settings and in active and positive environments. They tend to be healthy and happy!
