SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

IN ITS 17TH YEAR, THE WBENC NATIONAL CONFERENCE & BUSINESS FAIR WILL CONTINUE TO BUILD UPON ITS TRACK RECORD OF SUCCESS BY CREATING SPONSORSHIPS THAT OFFER MEANINGFUL VEHICLES FOR OUR CONSTITUENTS TO SHOWCASE THEIR COMMITMENT TO EXPANDING BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES FOR WBES AS WELL AS HIGHLIGHT THE BRANDS THAT REPRESENT EACH OF YOU IN A UNIQUE WAY. WBENC recognizes the importance of your brand and understands the unprecedented opportunity to market your company at an event that attracts over 3,500 attendees and more than 300 exhibitors. Here are some key facts and benefits to consider as you evaluate your potential sponsorship ROI: • Brand loyalty is highest among women. • This event is the largest of its kind nationwide for women business owners. • WBENC-Certified WBEs represent not only savvy decision makers across 46 major industries, but also consumers and influencers with a widespread reach. • T he exposure your brand will receive reaches far beyond the venue. WBENC’s robust, broad-based media strategy reaches national, regional, and local audiences with news, insights, and details about the upcoming conference’s value to the U.S. business community. WBENC will also provide increased visibility for our sponsors this year through the WBENC #ACTIntentionally campaign. Introduced in 2015, this campaign highlights our sponsors and their brands, encouraging all of our constituents to support those who support us. This will include social media exposure, website recognition, and highlights in the WBENC President’s Report. In addition to innovative branding opportunities, your sponsorship will generate a solid financial foundation for the implementation of a national conference that offers cutting-edge education, renowned keynote speakers, and networking activities designed to support the participants’ goals of establishing business contacts that lead to business contracts. As vice president of marketing and technology for WBENC, my strategy embraces the National Conference & Business Fair as a critical component for outreach to our constituents and visibility of the organization’s mission. WBENC has consistently realized tangible returns from our marketing strategy for this event, including increased membership and certified WBEs year-over-year, resulting in sustainable growth. Our vision for our sponsors is for you to capitalize on the wealth of branding and messaging opportunities this event affords as well as the business growth potential that underscores the mission of WBENC. I look forward to seeing each of you and your brands in Orlando in 2016! Sincerely, Pat Birmingham Vice President, Marketing & Technology

2016 WBENC CONFERENCE & BUSINESS FAIR

GUIDELINES

AND ELIGIBILITY NATIONAL CONFERENCE & BUSINESS FAIR SPONSOR ELIGIBILITY WBENC‘s National Conference is designed to attract the broadest possible participation from corporations, government agencies and women business owners. However, to ensure that Women’s Business Enterprises (WBEs) have meaningful opportunities to connect with potential clients (corporate, government and other WBEs) as well as strengthen relationships with existing clients, WBENC has established specific rules of eligibility for sponsors of the 2016 Conference: 1. Only national WBENC Corporate Members or Regional Corporate Members from Women’s Business Enterprise Council South (WBEC South), Greater Women’s Business Council (GWBC), and the Women’s Business Development Council- Florida (WBDC-FL), as well as RPOs and WBENC-Certified WBEs, can be sponsors. 2. WBENC reserves the right to approve or deny any sponsorship requests.

NATIONAL CONFERENCE & BUSINESS FAIR EXHIBITOR ELIGIBILITY 1. National WBENC Corporate Members, Regional Partner Organization (RPO) Corporate Members affiliated with WBEC South, GWBC, or WBDC-Fl, and WBENC-Certified WBEs are eligible to exhibit. 2. Government agencies, WBENC’s strategic partners and media sponsors, and approved affiliate nonprofit organizations can be exhibitors. 3. WBENC reserves the right to approve or deny any business as an exhibitor.

SPONSOR RECOGNITION IN MEDIA RELATIONS AND PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS Corporate sponsors along with WBE sponsors may be listed in one or more of the following areas. Please carefully read the details of the benefits package associated with your chosen sponsorship. 1. Website (company logo displayed with link to company home page and/or supplier diversity page). 2. The Media Kit will include press releases listing sponsors, and the electronic media kit will be updated on a monthly basis. 3. The #ACTIntentionally365 book will be made available to all conference attendees. On location, sponsors will be recognized on signage (based on level of sponsorship) and through select public awareness strategies. In the past, public awareness strategies have included website, print, social media and media relations opportunities. Specific featured sponsor-only benefits include all of the above as well as coordinated media relations and publicity campaigns; event program hosting and participation; reserved table seating (where event provides it); and exclusive on-site signage. Promotional activities begin immediately. The sooner your commitment is confirmed the greater the benefit your company will receive. WBENC aggressively promotes the conference. Media sponsors provide print and Internet promotion (calendar listings), advertising and coverage. Those publications include: MBE Magazine, Enterprising Women magazine, WE USA, Diversity Inc and many others. These partners promote the conference through their readership by featuring a full-page conference ad at negotiated rates to maximize exposure and drive traffic to the WBENC Conference website. WBENC expects to attract an even greater number of media sponsors in 2016, adding to the nearly 500,000 circulation figure for the combined media sponsors.

“WBENC’s National Conference & Business Fair coming to Austin offered a great opportunity for Chevron. We were so proud to welcome our colleagues and friends to Texas – home to thousands of Chevron employees and many of our most important businesses. Our co-chair level sponsorship in 2015 provided a great opportunity to highlight our commitment to WBENC, the seven regional organizations we actively support, the many woman-owned businesses we work with, and our goal of a supply chain that reflects the communities where we live and work.’’ David Feldman Local Content/Supplier Diversity Chevron Corporate Procurement

“We at Imagen always look forward to the conference. It is the single most important event we do for ourselves. Our entire staff gets involved in the planning. An additional benefit for us is the team building that comes with planning for the conference. We sponsor for several reasons: first to give back to our community, second to increase our visibility and also to establish Imagen as a leader in our field by showcasing our creativity and ability. We want to show our sisters through example that you do not have to invest a fortune to present your company well. Sponsoring also gives us an additional opportunity to meet dynamic women and to spend more time getting to know them and their companies. “Do you want to be inspired? If so, participate in the WBENC Student Entrepreneur Program (SEP) in 2016. You will experience the energy, creativity, resourcefulness and positive-thinking of these young women…our future business leaders. Getting to know, work with, coach and invest in these women far exceeded my expectations. While it was fortunate to be paired with Fon Powell, Founder of S.A.L.T and the winner of the SEP Pitch contest, we all benefit from a continuing dialogue and conversation about dreams, business plans and obstacles. Every mentor I talked with raved about the experience. Witnessing the impact of WBENC through the eyes of the student entrepreneurs reinforced how important it is for those of us who have gone before to offer support and lessons learned to these extraordinary young women. Together we are in a position to “ignite” our collective power to help them realize their dreams and build sustainable businesses.” Kittie Watson President, Innolect Inc.
