This spectacular snorkeling site is just a short dhoni ride away from Lily Beach and offers the chance to snorkel with a host of colorful fish and marine life native to the Indian Ocean. Change up locations and come explore a new underwater world!

Trip to a Local Island
Take a trip to nearby Dhangethi Island and experience the local culture. The island is home to several temporary and permanent shipyards, where you can observe the Maldivian way of boat building. Visitors can also check out the traditional local-made crafts and unique hand-made souvenirs.
Water, soft drinks, and fruit kebab, are available during the 25 minute trip by Dhoni (a traditional Maldivian boat).

Sunset Fishing
Sunsets on the ocean are not just breathtaking, but they are also the perfect time to catch fish. For centuries, Maldivians have been perfecting the art of handline fishing, and our Sunset Fishing excursion provides the opportunity to learn from the professionals as our dhoni crew shares their hints and tips.
Your catch of the day can be prepared by our Lily Maa chefs, cooked to your liking, and served as fresh as possible- from sea to table in a matter of minutes.

Ocean Adventure
The South Ari Atoll is famous for its resident population of manta rays and whale sharks. Despite their size, these gentle giants are harmless, and their gracefulness in the water makes swimming with them one of the most sought-after experiences at Lily Beach. Join this speedboat excursion for the chance to swim with two of the ocean’s most incredible creatures.

Turtle Tour
For many of our guests, swimming in the Indian Ocean surrounded by colorful marine life is high on their bucket lists. Luckily, our Turtle Tour offers an experience of a lifetime: the chance to see turtles in their natural habitat at one of the nearby reefs. Dive under the surface and observe these cute creatures loafing around, going with the flow, and waving goodbye as they glide on about their day.

Dolphin Safari
Imagine sitting at the helm of a boat, dipping your hands in the sea as the vessel cuts the water’s surface. Suddenly, you are surrounded by a pod of dolphins, curiously playing around the boat and jumping out of the water on all sides. You snap the perfect picture as two spring out of the water, suspended in the air with a classic Maldivian sunset behind them.
This can be a reality on the Dolphin Safari, a dhoni excursion that allows you the chance to see dolphins that frequent the waters around Lily Beach. Both spinner dolphins (as the name suggests, these dolphins are very playful) and bottlenose dolphins live in the South Ari Atoll, and can often be sighted at sunset as the dolphins are returning to the atoll.
