4 Rio House
The precedent was used to help us understand tectonics. The connecting of material that connects with one another or the ground to hold up a structure. It also was used to help us generate ideas for our final Pavilion.
1 Ginga Pavilion Precedent

This pavilion was designed to create a flow through the Burnet Woods. We had to create a pavilion with 3 specific requests of a pathway, gathering space, and a stage. I based my pavilion and its tectonic structire on my precdent tying them both together in some way.

The idea of the cube was to use an abstract material and attach it in an extruding way, that made it look in a way normal. The craft and tediousness that was needed was the most challenging part.
