Ciao and welcome to Lancaster Festa Italia!

Lancaster Festa Italia is organised by the Lancaster Business Improvement District (BID) on behalf of the businesses who operate in Lancaster, so make sure you show them your support whilst you’re in the city today!

We’ve got a jam-packed day of Italian themed fun for you to enjoy, with live music, dancing, film and opera, alongside Italian stalls and a fantastic display of Supercars and bikes. Make sure you visit Market Square for the action packed Melodrome Stage and pop-up bar.

Families with young children must visit the Simply Baby Bambino Zone in St Nics Arcade. With face painting, arts and crafts and a programme of children’s activities to try out, there is plenty of fun to be had. Don’t forget the Bring Out The Brollies Trail with treats to collect as you go – pick up your trail in the Bambino Zone or at the Lancaster BID gazebo in Market Square.

ITALY AFTER DARK On Saturday 7th September the city will start their celebrations of all things Italian ready for the start of our Festa Italia weekend. Saturday evening see’s various business taking part in our Festa Fringe pre promotions with various offers in stores.

You can try various delicious flavours of Italy with mouth-watering food in the restaurants and an Italian drink or 3 whatever you’re tipple is be it Limoncello, Gin, Lager or an Italian inspired cocktail in the bars around the city.

As well as the offers we will have our Fantastico Waiters visiting some of the establishments taking part and Lewis Ice cream van parked in various locations throughout the evening.
