Since 1985, the globally acting Valve Company AZ Armaturen with its headquarter in Germany is manufacturing industrial valves in Boksburg, Johannesburg. AZ HF plug valves are specially designed for use in any HF alkylation process and hydrofluoric acid applications The construction of the AZ valves is based on a cavity-free plug valve design with PTFE-sleeve or chemically resistant PFA/FEP-lining. Within many decades the AZ Group perfected and optimised its valves for severe applications and industrial facilities through the use of new materials and improved designs. A wide range of valves is available for many different sectors and applications. The industrial valves from AZ, particularly plug and special valves meet the extremely high requirements of the chemical and petrochemical sector, refineries, the pulp and paper industry, fertilizer plants, oil and diesel applications in shipbuilding, the food sector, seawater desalination plants, the mining industry and many more.
