Dear Future Running Eagle & Family,
Our mission is to develop student-athletes of character and integrity who will serve as positive members of not only the Life University community, but greater society after graduation.
Over the past decade, a foundation of excellence has been established by the studentathletes who have worn the Black and Life Green. At Life University, excellence both on and off the field has been a standard for which the athletic department has been built on. With an ever-growing academic distinction, a great student- athlete enrichment program, first-class athletic facilities, sponsorship by Adidas, and competing in the NAIA, we are confident that our best days are ahead of us!
We feel confident that you will contribute as we establish the Running Eagle Lacrosse tradition together. Our goal is to positively push you in a way that allows you to become the best student, athlete, and person possible. Lacrosse is a huge part of our lives, and we hope to use it to facilitate the life lessons and give you the tools that will help you achieve all your future endeavors.
We define a model program as one that wins or loses with class. It is important that we attack all obstacles with passion and purpose. While lacrosse is extremely important as is winning, success is the by-product of staying true to our character. In the large amount of time that we will spend together, you will be given an opportunity to join our brotherhood where everyone is expected to do their share for the good of the program.
It’s A Great Day To Be A Running Eagle

When building a winning tradition, it is important to start by establishing an identity that goes beyond the lacrosse field. The Life University Lacrosse program is defined by its blue-collar work ethic. It is our ATTITUDE, DISCIPLINE, and EFFORT that is the driving force that gives us the tools to stay true to our five pillars. Who we are as a program is the catalyst that creates relentlessness, passion, and toughness that allows our players to overcome adversity. The sum is greater than its parts, but it is important that each individual must invest themselves to fall in love with the PROCESS!
« ATTITUDE: It is a catalyst…A spark that creates extraordinary results, no fear of failure!
« DISCIPLINE: Do what you’re supposed to do, when you're supposed to do it, exactly like it is supposed to be done, and do it consistently, and have attention to detail!
« EFFORT: We embrace a commitment to always put forth our best effort. Be passionate, relentless and take pride!

As a Life University Lacrosse player, we are students first and athletes second. It is important that we recruit young men who are hardworking and responsible students. We expect that all members of our program understand they are both a full-time student and full-time athlete; this is communicated from the first time they step foot on campus as a recruit. Be a door opener, not a door closer!
