Color Me Coral: PHOTOGRAPHY JEAN TERMAN
INTERIOR DESIGNER SHOWS HOW TO MAKE THIS SHADE YOUR OWN
THERE’S JUST SOMETHING ABOUT CORAL; IT’S WARM AND ENERGIZING WHILE STILL STAYING SOFT. This year, the Pantone Color Institute, an industry leader in forecasting trends, chose Living Coral as its color of the year for its "nurturing" and "life-affirming" tones. Patty Lacourte, interior designer and owner of Eurica Home in Waldwick, showed us how using shades of coral in small ways can add beautiful accents to your home. “Try to adorn spaces with color in layers of design,” she says. “It’s the final touches and infusions of color that create a warm and welcoming space.” Patty put together several looks that capture hints of this shade but advises that what makes a space your own is adding a personal touch. “Don’t be afraid to surround yourself with pieces and colors you love,” she says. “Your home should be a beautiful reflection of yourself.” Eurica Home, 48 Franklin Turnpike, Waldwick, 201.444.4616, EuricaHome.com
