Exciting times for UHI Moray

At UHI Moray we know how to kick the year off with a bang.

The year has only just started, and we have launched two exciting new courses. Our Serial Killers: Inside the Criminal Mind course, which was designed and created due to the true crime craze, is centred around serial killer profiling, and gives students a gateway into the criminology field. While our Sports and Fitness: Preparing for the Uniformed and Emergency Services course focuses on employer engagement to prepare students for a career in the uniformed and emergency services.

The Moray Game Jam is returning after a 3-year hiatus bringing together gaming enthusiasts, industry leaders and educators for 48-hours of creativity, collaboration, and fun. This event which started in 2014 attracts teams from across Scotland who compete to create a video or board game based on a specific, yet to be announced, theme. This years’ event launches Friday 10th March at 12pm.

Our Hospitality and Tourism Academy (HATA) which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year is hosting its 2nd Hospitality Festival from Monday 27th to Friday 31st March. The festival, that started last year, aims to promote the Hospitality and Tourism industry through interactive sessions aimed at students, those in the industry and the public.

We are also running our Open Days on Tuesday 29th March and Tuesday 13th June to give prospective students the chance to tour our Moray Street campus and find out about our range of full-time, part-time, and short courses from the experts – our lecturers and student support teams.

Whether you are a school leaver, returning to education or looking to develop your career, or simply learn for fun, UHI Moray our unique and personal learning experience will ensure you have the skills, qualifications and confidence needed to thrive in the 21st century workplace.
