The Coversation - I Am Me

along with friends and colleagues started The Conversation in the hope that it will encourage others to do just that - talk. The object is to normalise the fact that men can be upset without being seen as soft, struggle without being weak and that they need to talk before it’s too late. A hard conversation is far easier than a funeral.

In addition to the song’s release they planned a multi band gig at Elgin Town Hall on January 21st, featuring all the musicians, with all proceeds from the song and gig being given to a chosen mental health charity. They decided that all proceeds would be donated to Mikeysline. For those who are unfamiliar with Mikeysline, it was founded in late 2015 after a tragic number of suicides in the Highland area. Its objective is to offer support 365 evenings a year for anyone, irrespective of their personal need or of the level of that need, with their text-based support, which is available on 07786 207755 on text, WhatsApp, WebChat, Twitter, and Facebook Messenger."
