LifePoint Church Family,

What an incredible year we had in 2022! At LifePoint Church, we are all about changed lives, and 2022 was full of changed lives! We are so grateful to help people Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Their Purpose and Make a Difference! We are so excited to celebrate some wins from this year with you.

We celebrated lives changed through salvations and baptisms. People are participating in small groups, joining the Dream Team and learning what it means to serve here in our church and our community. We ministered to thousands of people through our Men’s, Women’s, Marriage and Worship nights! Through our two 21 Days of Prayer initiatives, we partnered with Convoy of Hope to provide clean drinking water and meals for those in need around the globe.

We continue to see our Online Campus grow not only in numbers but in discipleship as we help people take their next steps. Our Austin Peay State University Campus continues to reach students, and we’ve also begun a young adult weekly gathering in downtown Clarksville.

Our hearts for reaching the lost both locally and globally continues to grow. We sent fifteen teams, including both students and adults, on missions trips domestically and internationally. Locally, we served our community on many different projects on serve days.

As we celebrate what God has done in 2022, we also look to the future at what God is going to do through our city. We are excited to continue to look at expanding our Tiny Town Campus off of Exit 1. You are an incredible church with a heart to love God, love and serve others, as well as walk in generosity! As a church, we can do greater things together than as individuals, so let’s keep going and growing in the Lord together to accomplish all that

The Tecate Mission trip was humbling and absolutely defining for our team. As leaders we went in preparing to lead students on a grand adventure in the name of JESUS….what happened is the actions of the students had a forever impact on us. From playing games with the local children to deciding to be water baptized at the pool on site…the mission was daily changing, moving and spirit filled. Missions play a key role in developing future leaders for the Kingdom.

In 2022, we hosted our first CAMP LIVE DFRNT and sent students. Leaders were stretched to new limits, but all for the glory of God. The bonds they made at camp with their students multiplied their weekly connections. The camp overall encouraged us to lead well and plan for excellence in the coming years.

We launched the Gathering for young adults on August 23rd, 2022! We've been meeting weekly and seeing a growing number of young adults attending in a short amount of time. We have an amazing group of leaders and Dream Teamers that help make the Gathering happen each week.

This has been a great place for APSU students to connect into for community and a place of belonging. We love meeting in the downtown area. We hear stories each week of young adults that come to the Gathering and find freedom in community. We can't wait for all that God has in store in 2023!

As a member of LifePoint’s Online Campus, I will always feel blessed for the opportunity I was given to join the Ponce, Puerto Rico Mission Team. As soon as I met the team at the airport, I immediately was welcomed by everyone and felt like family within minutes! Our group leader was organized, attentive, and managed the group well. We served prayerfully, mindfully, and within the awareness of the need for our presence. I was grateful to operate in my purpose, receive guidance, and understand the LifePoint mission. The sisterhood and brotherhood I found within our team was life changing and the connection is as real today as it was then. I continue to stay involved as an Online Campus member and I continue to allow my purpose to be revealed to me through the lessons and relationships of LifePoint.

We began holding church at the jail in August of 2022. We have seen the Lord save, restore, and heal many as we minister the Word of God and pray for those seeking change in their lives through the love of God.

I heard this song while I was pregnant and instantly knew this was the song for my sweet boy.

This song played for 11 hours straight throughout my L&D room as we waited for our precious boy! A few months later he was hospitalized and life changed for us, but we continued to play this song on repeat. When nurses would check on him I could hear them singing along over him calming him back to sleep. Since then, we have played it at every doctor’s and hospital visit, for every scan, injection, lab draw, and every long night due to pain. Today I handed my son over to be sedated and brought to the operating room again, and before walking away the anesthesiologist promised to play this song the entire time they had him. When we got to the door I heard her singing in his ear --”victorious, triumphant one, all-powerful…”

I do not know what life will lay before my son, how long we will walk on this journey with him, how long he will be sick, or how many times I will hand him over and watch doctors carry him into the operating room. However, I do know the One who controls everything is holding him through it all, the Captain of the vessel is in full control! - Lanie

“In 2019 Hurricane Dorian devastated the northern part of the Bahamas. The people of Marsh Harbour went a year without electricity, followed by the COVID-19 outbreak. We had the privilege of serving a local church that had been untouched since 2019. Our team was able to rebuild several spaces, but our greatest joy was seeing hearts full of hope and love. Royal Family Kids Camp

“Royal Family Kids Camp takes around 40 boys and girls, currently in the foster care system, and gives them a week where they can truly just be a kid in a totally safe and loving environment. The kids get to swim, play, dance, sing, spend time with new friends and cultivate healthy relationships with the other children and the staff at the camp. Through these counselors and staff, God so divinely disrupts the cycles of abuse, proving to the children that not only can they be loved by adults, but they are more than worthy of love from their Heavenly Father.”
