MFL is collaborating with Atlanta Metropolitan State College (AMSC) and Goodwill Career Services to offer our communities the opportunity to change the trajectory of low-income household with a High Demand Occupancy (HDO) skill as a phlebotomist. MFL has previously had a two-year cohort with Clayton County Community Service Center, where 100% of their clients are now certified Phlebotomist. Clayton County Community Service Center offers services such as rental assistance, utilities and food pantry. Because of the successful cohort, many of these clients are no longer eligible for these once needed social service programs. MFL has contributed over $14,000 dollars in scholarships to low-income students who did not qualify through government agencies such as WIOA or County funding. MFL’s motto is “Saving Lives Forever” and that is what we can accomplish when we all collaborate to change one community at a time.
Dr. Theresa Moore, CEO Messiah for LifeApostle Dr. Deborah Lee Barrett is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma and currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia where she serves as Executive Director, Lead Strategist & Steward of Catapult Global, Inc. (a 501c3), President of Catalyst Empowerment Group, and Church Strategist of Catalyst Church Consulting. She accepted Christ at the tender age of 19, and simultaneously received a call to the community and global missions while speaking in three earthly languages upon receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Under the leadership of her pastors and with local church support, she launched various community outreach ministries including youth detention centers, transitional homes, senior citizen residential facilities, crisis centers, prisons & families of the incarcerated, and a youth empowerment program for under-served youth. She has passionately pursued God’s presence over the years and carried that presence to people and places desperately in need of the love and healing touch of the Father - both domestically and globally. Deborah has received ordinations and certifications as an apostle, minister, elder, authorized teacher of Christian education, church growth strategist, certified leadership coach, trainer & speaker with the John Maxwell Team and Growing Leaders Inc. Her passion for ministry and leadership development led her to Tomlinson College in Cleveland, TN where she received a degree in Practical Ministries with authorization to establish official Bible Institutes in local churches. Later, she attended Mercer University and received a second degree in Organization Leadership. In 2021 she was nominated and honored as recipient of an Honorary Doctorate of Humanitarianism, and in 2012 received The Esther Award from the National Association of Women in Ministry for lifelong service and contributions in the church and the community. She has served globally in Curacao, Greece, India, Canada, the Caribbean, and more recently in Zambia and Uganda. She also fulfilled assignments in South Africa and Brazil.
In addition to serving in ministry to local churches, civic organizations and the community, Deborah devoted her professional career to working with nonprofit organizations that impact under-served populations through education and empowerment programs. After raising two daughters (Brittany and Kourtni) who are now professional adults with families, she retired from the workforce in 2013 and launched an empowerment initiative called Level Ground Youth Empowerment Program to serve middle school and high school girls of single parent homes in under-served communities, as well as two other entities - Catalyst Empowerment Group LLC and Catalyst Church Consulting. The mission of these two entities is to shift individuals, organizations and ministries to the next level by providing relevant tools for greater impact in the different spheres - societal and geographical. As a Church Growth Strategist, she received specialized training through the Society for Church Consulting to assist pastors with identifying and removing barriers that impact the ministry’s overall growth and spiritual health.
In 2018, God called Deborah out of retirement and instead He re-FIRED her to birth, build and steward what was prophetically identified as her “Assignment of Destiny,” Catapult Global. She received the divine blueprints for this in 2018 and launched Catapult Uganda in 2019 with a cross-generational team of 14 deployed to the nation’s capital, Kampala. A second team returned in September 2022 and third team is scheduled to return in May 2023. Apostle Deborah’s testimony is “God uses ordinary people… just ordinary people who will give Him an unreserved yes.” She is thoroughly enjoying this “Esther season” of fulfilling divine destiny - the reason she was created - while partnering with individuals, ministries and businesses to advance the Kingdom of God in Uganda and beyond.

The Invisible Disabilities® Association (IDA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. IDA encourages, educates and connects people and organizations touched by illness, pain and disability around the globe. People touched by illness and pain do not necessarily want understanding since unless someone has been there themselves, they will never fully comprehend; what people really want is belief. The reactions and disbelief of friends and family can be sometimes more devastating than the illness or pain itself. The effects of the illness need to be believed and the invisibleness made visible. IDA has seen firsthand when family members and friends finally discover the hidden nature of illness and pain which in turn restores and strengthens relationships. There can be hope and relationship and belief and IDA is leading the way. IDA's vision is a world where people living with illness, pain and disability will be INVISIBLE NO MORE®.
