There are over 2 Billion people in the world with a Buddhist or Hindu worldview.

Less that 1% of them have had an adequate presentation of the Gospel.

Over 150,000 babies are born each day in this region of the world.

Less than 10% of global missions funding goes to this region of the world.

GLOBAL IMPACT

Through Kingdom Builders, we support key mission projects around the world such as, providing Bibles in restricted areas, vehicles for missionaries, humanitarian aid for refugees and victims of natural disasters, planting churches among the least reached and unengaged along with pastoral development. Everyone, in every nation, deserves a chance to hear the gospel.

LOCAL IMPACT

Kingdom Builders is committed to funding the church’s growth locally through expanding our own campuses, planting life-giving, Spirit-filled churches in our communities, and ministering to the hurting in our own backyard. We do not do this for comfort, impressive buildings, or praise, but for the purpose of making a space for those not yet here to personally know our loving, Heavenly Father.

FUTURE CHRISTIAN LEADERS

Kingdom Builders believes in coming alongside future Christian leaders to foster a love for God, His Word, and the lost. We partner with organizations that care for the physical and spiritual needs of future leaders from birth through college. We will relentlessly invest in the next generation of leaders, pastors, and missionaries who will actively serve and change their world.

God is moving globally and our Kingdom Builders partners are on the front line of what He is doing.

In 2023 we partnered with Priority One to build two dormitories for ten families attending Bible School in Burkina Faso. Because of your generous giving, the Gospel is advancing in Burkina Faso.

As I write these notes, a GO Team from LIFEchurch is in the country of Panama constructing a church building in the interior of Panama (Santiago de Veraguas).

Through Kingdom Builders we have sent a church planting team to some islands off the coast of Africa in the Indian Ocean. The people on these islands have never had an adequate presentation of the Gospel.

Kingdom Builders has partners in Southern Asia that are:

1. Planting churches among the least reached and least engaged.

2. Rescuing victims of human trafficking through law enforcement raids and providing follow-up social services as well as Christ-centered ministry.

3. Creating business platforms that are empowering local impoverished communities with job opportunities.

4. Creating programs for youth development such soccer schools, art and media training, and English fluency programs.

Global Opportunities in 2024

Venture Missions ($15k) – Venture serves in areas of the world that are the least reached and least resourced by partnering with local leaders in those communities to end some of the world's greatest injustices. For more information go HERE

Buddhist|Hindu Priority ($20k) – An initiative of the Assemblies of God World Missions to raise up 50,000 new prayer partners, send 150 new global workers to the BHP peoples and raise the necessary funds to accelerate sending new global workers. For more information go HERE

LiveDead Southern Asia ($40k) – Live Dead Southern Asia exists to make disciples and plant the church where it is not present. It is a five-country area that has wide geographic diversity meshed with worldview backgrounds in Buddhism, Hinduism, and Islam. Southern Asia has over 230 million people and are made up of 733 unreached people groups with less than one percent who are followers of Jesus. For more information go HERE

Prayer Engagement for Global Impact

The Kingdom of Bhutan - Pray for true spiritual freedom in this “Land of the Dragon”. The Buddhist monarchy, the government policies to keep Bhutan isolated, and the stronghold of Vajrayana Buddhism resulted in Bhutan being one of the world’s least-evangelized nations.  For more Information go Here

Yemen – Yemen is one of the least evangelized countries in the world. Due to regional conflict expatriates are unable to go to this country. Amidst the terrible suffering, Yemenis are finding life in Christ through radio, Bible distribution, careful witness, and dreams and visions from the Lord! Believers meet secretly and only in small groups. They often face dangerous opposition. Praise God for these followers of Jesus. Pray for them as they learn how to honour their culture and family while faithfully serving the Lord. There may be more Yemeni followers of Christ than all the other indigenous groups in the Arabian Peninsula combined!

LOCAL IMPACT

Mission begins locally-in our homes, with our families, with our neighbors, in our city and in our state. We will not be moved with compassion for the lost globally at the expense of the needs locally. WE MUST DO BOTH!

Through Kingdom Builders, in 2023 we have served 400 students with back-to-school supplies along with $50 gift card to Scheels. This past winter we gave 320 winter warmth items to local shelters and students.

During our Summer Adventure we had 122 children attend and 30 of them started their journey of following Jesus.

We also provided back-to-school supplies for All Nations Fellowship, an inner-city church in the heart of New Orleans.

One of our Kingdom Builders partners, the Church Multiplication Network has trained over 8500 leaders and has facilitated planting over 5000 life-giving spirit-filled churches in places like Des Moines, Kansas City, Dallas and across the United States.

LIFEchurch gave $20,000 to Pastor Josh of Leon Assembly of God to help them purchase equipment for their new renovated building. Even though Leon is a small, rural community there is a life-giving church where people are getting saved, baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit.

LIFEchurch came alongside Dylan McNeely to plant the Refinery Church in Huntington, WV. We have provided not only financial help but also some critical church planting mentorship and training. Today Refinery Church is thriving and people are committing their life to Jesus.

Part of making a Local Impact is purchasing, maintaining and expanding our own facilities.

In 2023 we were able to maintain and repair critical equipment at our Wilton Campus.

We paid off the 15 acres of land that we have in North Liberty

We purchased essential broadcast equipment for Coralville to expand the outreach of LIFEchurch globally.

Prayer Engagement for Local Impact

Permanent Coralville & Cedar Rapids Campuses – Pray that we can identify the permanent home for LIFEchurch in Coralville and Cedar Rapids. We believe that God has a perfect spot in mind so pray that we know and understand His will.

The 500! – We believe that God has positioned us to see 500 new people cross three finish lines in the next two years:

1. Surrender their hearts and lives to Jesus,

2. Follow through with water baptism and

3. Start serving on a serve team.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is already drawing those 500 to Himself. Pray that these individuals will respond to the nudging of the Holy Spirit. Pray that our people would go above and beyond to invite their friends into an intimate relationship with Jesus. Pray that every person who walks through the doors of LIFEchurch would surrender their hearts and lives to Jesus

George Barna, professor at Arizona Christian University once said, “in a race to a child’s heart…the first one there wins.”

Through Kingdom Builders we are determined to win the race to every child’s heart. The Next Generation are not just simply leaders of tomorrow, they are the leaders of today. They have been gifted by God to reach their peers with this Good Gospel. Therefore we will do everything we can to reach them, train them, and empower them to lead.

One of our partners that is accomplishing this goal is the Sunstream Retreat Center in Ogden, IA. Every summer at Sunstream, hundreds of children and youth gather to have fun, wall climb, zipline, hang out with friends AND hear about Jesus’ great plan for their lives. Every year hundreds of kids surrender their life to Jesus, are water baptized and commit their lives to serving Jesus. Last year through Kingdom Builders, we provided ten scholarships for students to attend camp and gave $10,000 for camp development.

We came alongside Faith Academy to assist in providing a quality affordable education for some of the least-resourced children in our own backyard. Faith Academy is impacting the destiny of our children in Iowa City. They are winning the race to their heart.

Kingdom Builders is also making an impact among University students in Iowa. Chi Alpha is an organization committed to discipling university students to fulfill their purpose in God’s global plan. LIFEchurch supports five different Chi Alpha missionaries on three different campuses (UNI, Iowa State & Drake).

Prayer Engagement for Future Leaders

University of Iowa Chi Alpha – Pray that God would identify and send the right missionary to this campus in our own city. Pray that the missionary support needed would be rapidly raised and that in this coming year we would see a Chi Alpha established at the University of Iowa.

500 Youth and Children starting their journey with Jesus! – As part of our 500 initiative we want to see a significant number of children start following Jesus. Pray that each week in our kids church and youth services children will respond to the Good News of Jesus. Pray that they will receive the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Pray that they would receive and respond to God’s call on their life.

A statement we often say around here is, “Go after something so big it is destined to fail unless God intervenes.” This comes from this conviction that we have God is a BIG GOD. Therefore, we must have BIG DREAMS! Legacy giving is about dreaming big and positioning LIFEchurch to reach thousands more for generations to come.

We dream of a Coralville Campus that is our own…

For the past 18 years we have held our services in rented spaces. It is time to have our own facility! A facility that has the potential of expansion and can meet the needs of our growing congregation. Our dream is to stay in this location or a location nearby. To realize this dream will take some radical generosity. But we trust a God that “can do anything, you know - far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams!” (Ephesians 3:20 MSG)

We dream of a permanent Cedar Rapids Campus…

The Cedar Rapids campus has consistently grown over the last three years. They currently are a mobile church meeting in the DoubleTree Hotel. We believe that securing a permanent campus for Cedar Rapids will enhance their ability to do ministry on the weekends and during the week. It will also be the catalyst for even greater growth.

KINGDOM BUILDERS GOAL $605,000

Since we launched Kingdom Builders in 2018 and by God’s grace and blessings, and the sacrifice of so many, you have given over $2.5 million to accelerate the Gospel around the world and locally.

How do you make a commitment for Kingdom Builders?

Raising over 600 thousand dollars will require a generous sacrifice from all of us. Whether you give sacrificially or give from your abundance, here are some ways to step out in generosity:

PLAN

First, make a plan to give. “Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity.” (Proverbs 21:5). God is excited when you have a plan! Whatever the amount is—have the plan in place, work the plan and be obedient to follow through with the plan. Start there.

VISION

Next, ask God to give you a vision for what He could do through you with His help. This is beyond what you can do in the natural. This requires stepping out in faith with your financial giving. Then, write that vision down and pray about it! “God will supply all your needs from His glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19). Stepping out in faith always brings pleasure to God.

DREAM

Lastly, what would be a dream amount that you could give? Hold on to it. This number is only between you and God. Watch as each step of faith you take moves you closer to that dream. God can do exceedingly abundantly more than all we can ask for or imagine. (Ephesians 3:20)

While there will be many people giving to Kingdom Builders in 2024, always remember that every gift matters to God. It’s not the size of the gift, but the obedience to God’s voice that matters most. Now is the time to make a plan to give, to ask God for a vision in your generosity, and hold on to the dream of what God will do as you step out in faith
