RELEVANT SKILLS

This project was the culmination of the third studio at Northeastern, Urban Institutions. The prompt was to design a housing complex for graduate students on the Northeastern campus. My project was concerned with different methods of aggregation and stacking of units.

This project preceded the library, and it was a chance to get acquainted with designing for public use and specific program. It was also my first opportunity to experiment with renders. It was also the first project in which I did a site visit to explore the inner workings of the land. I had to incorporate another program apart from a public restroom, and I chose to incorporate a public garden.

This project was the culmination of our second year studio entitled Site, Space, and Program. The prompt was to propose an intervention in Boston’s Chinatown for a branch of the Boston Public Library. My approach was massing-centric, trying to create an interesting composition from multiple angles.

This project was the final for an elective woodworking studio, entitled Advanced Architectural Communication. This was my last attempt to create an interesting architectural form with the bandsaw.
