Camera Movement Camera movement is used to alter the relationship between the subject and the camera frame, changing the viewer's perspective. The camera height and angle, the distance to a subject and the composition of a shot may change during camera movement. There are several standard camera movment types used in film and the media, including; tracking, dolly, dolly zoom, follow, pan, pedestal and tilt.
Pan: Horizontal movement of the camera, left or right.
Follow: When the camera physically follows the subject at a more or less constant distance.
