Get a head start on GCSE Food and Nutrition by joining Mrs Hall’s fun pre-GCSE cooking session. Here you will learn to foundations of the course whilst also creating tasty dishes and learning new techniques in fun and interesting ways. Students signing up for this EE will be required to bring an apron and will have an expectation to provide their own containers/tupperware to take their tasty goods home. All ingredients will be provided.

Run, swim, cycle your way to improved fitness and ‘tri’ a new sport. Triathlon club is a training club for those students who like one, two or three of the disciplines involved and who may want to prepare to enter a traithlon or it's short distance cousins that are biathle and traithle. Please note, this is a training club not a 'learn to swim' club so all participants must be able to complete at least two lengths of continuous swimming and be able to run continuously for a minimum of 5 minutes. 5pm finish.

Higher Project Qualification

The Higher Project Qualification (HPQ) is a standalone qualification, equivalent to half a GCSE, and can be taken by students in addition to their GCSE qualifications. The HPQ provides an exciting opportunity for students to develop and extend their understanding in an area of personal interest or to conduct research into subjects which may not be available as part of their other formal studies and as a stepping stone to the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). This term Y10 students will be finalising their research into their projects and agreeing their final title which will enable them to begin writing their report. The Trinity Ski club is open exclusively to beginners from Y6Y13 to give students who have not yet had the opportunity to ski the chance to learn. An ideal opportunity for students signing up for the Snowsports Trip in 2025. Please only sign your son / daughter up if they need to complete the beginner course. Wider ability Snowsports options will be available at the beginning of next academic year. Collection at 6pm from Chill Factore or 7.15pm at Rishworth School Car Park.

Latin study for beginners and those with some prior experience. We follow the Cambridge Latin Course, which introduces the language through stories set in Pompeii. Students may also explore ancient Greek if they choose.
