Marcus is the founder and owner of MISS SL Organization, a fashion modelling academy and agency in Second Life, well-known for the annual MISS / MR SL Pageants, Producer of our L’Homme Magazine SL Fashion Shows and many more pageants and shows that provide a fashion career platform for renowned models and aspiring models alike. Marcus has lead his team at MISS SL Organization to raise funds for HIV and Cancer Research, and also encouraged the pageant winners, MISS and MR SL, to dedicate their year of reign to various charities of their choice. Marcus is also the partner of our Editor-in-Chief Hikaru Enimo, and they celebrated their friendship and love for over a decade, strengthening their bond with their SL marriage in 2018. Marcus is a mentor, friend, and family to many. He continued to do what he loved to do and was building a fashion show stage, until he succumbed to cancer. Marcus passed away on 27th September 2023. Farewell Marcus, and Rest in Peace. 28

LETTER FROM THE EDITOR A treasure trove of great memories is most valuable in life.
On our cover is Marcus Lefevre-Enimo (Marcusgay Lefevre), also known as Marcus Wisser on his social media Facebook. He is the Producer of our L’Homme Magazine Fashion Shows, and he has been my partner, husband, lover, and friend for more than a decade. He has passed away. It was painful to see him become frail due to chemotherapy treatments, and we did see improvement in his condition, but sadly he succumbed to his illness on the 27th of September 2023 evening, German time. This news is just too sudden and too big of an emotional shock, that I am still trying to accept it and say goodbye. I believe it is the same for many of Marcus’ friends. Thank you to everyone who loves and supports him. I hope the Marcus Memorial feature in this issue will help everyone to treasure fond memories of Marcus and bid him farewell. I love you, baby, I miss you so much already, rest peacefully. Marcus Lefevre-Enimo 1978 – 2023 On 27th September 2023, evening German time, we lose to cancer, a dear family member, a friend, and a close team-mate in all the activities we do in Second Life. He is Marcus Lefevre-Enimo (marcusgay.lefevre), or you may know him as Marcus Wisser on facebook. He is the owner of MISS SL Organization, with which he produced several pageants for many years and helped guide many become great models in their fashion career in Second Life, whilst allowing a taste of runway modelling for many young aspiring models, and giving them a boost in confidence with his nurturing personality. He is the Fashion Show producer for my magazine L’Homme Magazine SL. and Neo-Japan SL Event, and he is also webmaster of our event and GABRIEL and so much more as a person—a mentor, a father-figure to our kids, a friend and my lover. He is my dearest husband and friend for more than 10 years in Second Life. To date I still cannot accept that he is gone...and I know he has many friends who may also need to say goodbye to him. I hope this memorial will help a bit. HIKARU ENIMO

I first met you on November 16, 2016 at the Rose Theatre, Angel Manor. I taught a photography class at an RP school and brought like 15 kids to do photography around the theatre. They were all hyper and running all over the place and you messaged me and said it was impressive that they all listened to me (they didn’t) lol. We had a good chat then and kept in touch. It was then in July 2017 I started my modelling journey. I fell in love with the Miss SL shows and modelling and learned a lot from you, Hikaru, Rissa and Venom. I was in and out of SL for a few years but you were always there for me, a constant in my life, people would come and go but you never left me, even when we had fights you’d always say the next day it’s a restart and a new day. I never thought the day would come when I would have to say bye for the last time, still doesn’t seem real. You live on through the many memories I hold onto forever. We built a bond over the years and you became a Father figure to me and helped me with various things in my life. You were such a caring loving and supportive person, there for everyone and you impacted so many people’s lives here and will live on in everyone’s memories. Your quote, ‘I’m not doing this for the shits and jiggles,’ will stay with me and make me laugh so much each time I hear you saying it. RIP♥

The loss of a loved one is a wound that only time can heal. May the presence of love and affection from those around you bring some comfort in this time of mourning. I remember first meeting Marcus back in 2015-2016 when I first ventured into the world of SL Modeling. A lot of people I met in that world seemed to think extremely highly of themselves, and maybe they should have, but Marcus was different. I only interacted with him a few times, but in the times that I did, he was always kind and helpful. He treated me as an equal. I did not view myself as even close to an equal, but he made me feel welcome in a world I didn’t know much about. His respect for the modeling world and all who came into it showed me a different side of what can be a very dark field of work. I will forever appreciate the time he took to talk to me, treat me as he wanted to be treated, and show me that not everyone looked down their nose at you, new to the industry or not. He will be missed greatly by those who knew him; anyone whose life he touched is now just a little more empty because of the person he was. Rest in peace, my friend. We may not have been close, but you made an impact on me and how I looked at this crazy world. LUCKY SPIRITOR

I knew Marcus for a few years and got to know him a little better when I decided to participate in my first pageant ‘Avistar 2023.’ Marcus was a great person and an icon in the SL model industry. I have learned a lot from you about modelling. You made my dream to become a model of your agency come true. I can’t believe not to see you again or hear your voice while you are hosting a fashion show. I will miss your laugh and sarcastic comments, especially your ‘Quatsch!’. I will remember the good times we had during shows, rehearsals or just casual chats. I’ll always cherish the memories we had even if I still selfishly wish for more to be made. When I became your nephew back in 2015 I didn’t know we would become so close just after I joined YOUNGSTARS 2018. Hearing how proud you were back then when I won always put a smile on my face, and hearing how much it made a difference on you when I helped with the event shows by carrying on a part of your stress or burden so that the work wasn’t too overloaded upon your shoulders. Our family relationship bond became even tighter knit that you were nearly a second father-figure to me while our work relation steadily grew over 5 years from your guidance, both that I’ll always keep with me. I still want to make more memories and go on adventures even though it’s impossible, but I’ll never forget the past or memories. I hope you knew you are loved by many. I miss you and love you. September 27th, 2023 was the day the modeling and pageant community lost one of SL’s greatest and most generous, honest, and passionate person in the industry. I always looked up to Marcus from the day I met him. We met during Miss SL 2020. I got to know Marcus as a kind person who was always there to help you out with anything he could, a person who always included everyone. He was an example for me in many aspects.Like him, I often pronounce things wrong or trip over words it never stopped him from doing what he loved which made me see I didn’t need to be ashamed of it and encouraged me to speak in voice rather than text. His famous word ‘Crutch’ he often said when he tripped over words often made me laugh. You could tell how passionate he was about the organization by how often he got overwhelmed by emotions, which for me was a sign of how proud he was of everyone who worked with him and who was walking the shows. His stages were always so well put together always fitting the theme of the show’s so well. During Miss Sl 2023, we always had an inside joke about his famous ramps. Marcus taught me everything about modeling and pageants. I came to him knowing nothing at all about it. Like many others, I too used editorial poses instead of modeling poses. Yet he gave me a chance, His feedback and help brought me where I am now. I’ll always be grateful for that and hope I’ll make him proud. GALATEANA
How do you summarize your feelings for someone in just a few words? What they meant for you? I’ve been struggling with this, and all I can say is: Thank you. Thank you for accepting those were different when others rejected them. Thank you for being supportive when others dismissive. Thank you for giving me a chance, and trusting me. It is with a heavy heart that I say these few words because the loss of Marcus leaves a big void, I was proud to go a long way with him and to have been his first Mr SL, even if we had less opportunity to see us recently, he will forever remain a great friend who I will miss enormously, my condolences to his loved ones and in particular Hikaru.
I have known Marcus since 2010. He has always been a good friend, Mentor, and someone that I looked up to. Words can not express what I have personally learned from Marcus. He taught many of us within SL how to become great Models, Ambassador’s, and Mentors in own own ways. Each and everyone of us takes away a different memory, emotion, and outlook on our lives whether SL or RL thanks to this great man. he will be forever missed, loved, and cherished. SL will simply not be the same without you my old friend, but knowing you are still with us in our hearts, and memories puts a smile upon my face. When times get hard, and things look bleak, I will remember the words you have always spoken to me, and I will lift my chin and carry on strong and with great confidence. Marcus was the biggest and most reliable person in my Second Life activities. I started my second life in June 2019. And it was December 2020 when I applied for the MISS SL competition.At that time, I had only 1.5 years of experience and had no knowledge about fashion modeling in SL. So why did I decide to apply for the MISS SL Competition? One of the reasons was because the content of the MISS SL Organization website was so beautiful, theoretical, and fascinating. It was built by Marcus. I had studied the history of art and clothing in university, studied international etiquette and fashion based on it, and had a basic knowledge of color science. As such, Marcus’ theoretical website structure and challenges were very compelling to me. I enjoyed the competitions I participated in, each challenge was wonderful, and I enjoyed thinking about the person who graced the cover of Vogue, learning about and embodying the women who changed history, and researching the young designer who debuted at the Milan Collections that spring. It was all a great learning experience for me. And the moment I was named a runner-up, I was thrilled by the fact that there was a wonderful place in Second Life where I could be recognized for my efforts. I have been participating in the NEO Japan fashion show ever since and have had the honor of being a part of a spectacular and beautiful show that only Marcus could have created. My brilliant experience in Second Life was made possible by the wonderful environment that Marcus has created. I admire Marcus’ vision and beliefs and respect his honesty in making them a reality. I also feel a deep affinity for his warmth and humanity. I will hold the experiences and memories he has given me very close to my heart as I continue my activities in Second Life. I didn’t know Marcus very well, since it was the second time I tried Miss SL after a long break. After spending more than 5 months working with him, one thing that stood out for me and made me really look up to him was his amazing work ethic, commitment to his craft, and the work he loved. His quiet excitement during the competition was louder than he thought, and it could be felt by many backstage. When I entered the 2023 Miss SL Competition about a year ago, which was my first-time modeling ever in SL. Some models stated, ‘Wow, you jumped right into the Lion’s Den for your first show.’ I had no idea. LOL! Then, I met Marcus. I started to know exactly what they meant. Oh, trust me. It was not a bad thing at all. He was always very professional and provided structure for his shows. I like structure. He willingly answered all of my noob questions and gave me a few pointers. I did not look like everyone else, but he welcomed everyone’s beautiful differences. Even when some of the judges did not agree with my outfit choices, he told me that I was a breath of fresh air and that I definitely brought some excitement to the show”. I nervously giggled and stated, “Is this a good or bad thing?” He stated, “Oh no, it is a good thing”. I can now be remembered for being the Papagena with actual bird leg boots. LOL! Marcus Quotes: I honored Marcus’s opinions and encouragement. He told me to ‘don’t get discouraged no what anyone says about my styling,’‘keep pushing on,’‘you did the T-pose of death in the very beginning of the show, LOL,’ and ‘I see great things coming from you’. Finale: When a person becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. Marcus may be gone, but never forgotten. He will always be in our hearts and part of our family. Exit stage left. AXIAL LARSEN
A couple my favorite things with Marcus happened just recently. The first was when he was able to come to my wedding, while we were talking, he said, ‘you know Wyatt, it makes me happy knowing that you are happy.’ He liked his friends being happy; he was a good friend, mentor and cheerleader. He wanted us all to succeed not just in Second Life, but in our real lives also. The other, was the chair and table throwing...which started one time when I (of course) wasn’t paying attention to the directions which turned into an expectation that anytime i was around or entered chat, a chair or table would be thrown…so even now as I write this, I am waiting to hear ‘Throws a chair at Wyatt’ from above. I met Marcus through Hikaru. At that time, 2017 if I remember right, Hikaru asked my opinion of Marcus and that they’ve been friends for a long time but could it be more. I almost yelled ‘go for it!!’ as I was happy that Hikaru found someone whom he would even consider to go into a relationship again in SL, and I was glad Marcus seem like a sensible person, mature and yet he could be the culprit of many funny moments, which is great for Hikaru, because with the amount of work we do in SL, we do not have time for stupid dramas and we all want to enjoy SL not allow it to make life worse. It’s just I thought it could be many more years, sadly cancer took our friend away. I hope Hikaru can figure out a way to focus on the fact that he had a special someone for his partner for over a decade, and enjoyed many happy moments, and had together experienced and resolved many crazy strange encounters in their SL work too, and just keep that warmth in your heart Hikaru, that you had found Marcus. T H A N K ♦ Y O U ♦ M A R C U S. Marcus of the Miss SL Organization has passed. When I woke up this morning and read the news I could hardly hold my phone. A feeling of great loss started to fill me and I cried for a while. I cannot even imagine the loss that his loved ones that were closer to his felt and my condolences go out to the family and everyone at the Miss SL Organization. Marcus was a brilliant soul and worked so hard. He was extremely passionate and took SL Runway Modeling to new levels. He reached out to me, an absolute deviant and made me feel so included in the world of Runway Modeling. I wasn’t going to even compete in MR SL but he believed in me even when I did not. He made me feel appreciated, supported, and loved. He got me involved in a side of SL I never thought I would see and every time I heard his sweet voice every time I walked that runway, it brought me joy. He had a huge impact on my time in SL and gave me so many unforgettable memories. It was really hard to keep it together today. I had this image in my head and knew it had to be done. The moment I set foot into the Max Arena I was bawling. I cried my eyes through Photoshop and wanted to commemorate him with this beautiful picture. We ALL love you, Marcus. We MISS you. I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Marcus in the Avistars 2021 and MR SL 2022 competitions. I knew him, but not nearly as much as I would have liked. He possessed such a great balance between the technical aspects of his work and the beauty of it all. This was seen in not only the written word, but in the sets he built for his highly-regarded competitions. I admired his work and work ethic greatly. What I am most appreciative of is that he afforded so many of us a place where we could come together — a safe space for us to take risks and to have fun in the process. I loved being able to make new friends — several of whom I am still friends with to this day. Marcus knew how to create beauty and human connections. Being part of L’Homme, Neo-Japan and judging few Miss SL competitions I had the privilege of witnessing Marcus’s unwavering dedication to the Miss SL Organization, L’Homme Magazine SL, Neo-Japan SL Event, and GABRIEL, among many other remarkable contributions to the Second Life community. What truly set Marcus apart was his genuine and loving nature, especially when it came to providing feedback and nurturing to the contestants in the Miss SL contest. I remember staying back after a competition and witnessed his feedback, they were a perfect blend of honesty and gentleness, filled with encouragement and care. Marcus had an incredible talent for offering constructive criticism without ever diminishing the spirits of those involved. I truly believe kindness and support were instrumental in fostering growth, confidence, and self-belief among the participants.

In the vibrant virtual world of Second Life, where creativity knows no bounds, I crossed paths with Marcus. Back then, he was engrossed in the intricacies of Sim Estate Management, a world far removed from the glitz and glamour of the fashion industry. Though the idea of venturing into the world of fashion flickered in his mind, it was a faint, uncertain flame. I recall the day we had a conversation that would change the course of Marcus’s virtual journey. I was immersed in my job as Egoisme in Second Life, and he turned to me with an air of curiosity, asking, ‘What do I need to do to step into the fashion world?’ My reply was direct, as was my fashion philosophy: ‘We have to start by rebuilding your shape.’ Marcus was taken aback, his confidence in his own style palpable. ‘No way,’ he protested. ‘I’m cool; everyone says so.’ I retorted with a simple truth, ‘People lie.’ And so began Marcus’s unique foray into fashion, resolute in maintaining his distinctive avatar shape for an extended period. We delved into the art of fashion and style, unraveling the nuances of what models should and should not do. Together, Marcus and his friends set in motion the MissSL event, marking a new era in virtual fashion. Among the light-hearted ‘rules’ we agreed upon was a quirky one: ‘Models must avoid displaying their armpits. It’s unsightly to risk glimpses of unwelcome ‘bushes’ peeking out!’ Another decree was that every model had to sport not only a one-ofa-kind shape but also an identifying feature that set them apart, like Miranda Priestly’s infamous white attire in ‘The Devil Wears Prada.’ While I had a penchant for reducing lip size if something was not ‘fashion’, Marcus donned white attire with a flair all his own. He was steadfast and focused, his determination unwavering as he steered the Miss SL event and its accompanying festivities towards success. Together, we embarked on the venture of creating grand and unforgettable catwalks for our fashion shows. In those early days of mesh technology, we toiled relentlessly to bring visions to life. One catwalk, in particular, became Marcus’s favorite: the majestic Roman column catwalk. Sometimes, he was use to stay afk in the work-in-progress area, resulting in a bemused avatar marooned within a classic yet amusing ‘wanking box,’ a creation of mine meant to caution wandering avatars. And, for an extra layer of fun, some friends of us and I occasionally conspired to make the floor phantom, leaving him bewildered and alone in the sim ground zero. With boundless optimism and an indomitable spirit, Marcus extended his support to my various projects, including Wiply, one of the last platforms where he shared his message after his return home following last chemotherapy cycle. His digital legacy now rests in the capable hands of Hikaru, who must decide the fate of his account. In the ever-evolving landscapes of Second Life and fashion, Marcus left an indelible mark, and his journey remains an inspiring testament to the enduring allure of creativity and camaraderie in the virtual realm. Most of my memories of Marcus revolve around the pageants and fashion shows, although I also loved the epic parties. One of my fondest memories was when Marcus was reading a description during a fashion show or pageant and he messed up and would exclaim “Quatsch” and laugh. Very enduring and a perfect example of his humbleness and authenticity. Marcus gave himself and everyone else permission to be human and make mistakes. He took his work very seriously but never took himself seriously. He was one of the most nurturing and open souls I have ever met. He always took the time to talk to anyone who needed him, no matter how busy he was. He met you where you were without judgment or question. He was so supportive of me during the Miss SL 2020 pageant, and was always a shoulder to cry on and there for me when I had doubts or issues. I did not always fully appreciate it at the time, but do now, just how busy he was and how much work he was putting in to prepare for the shows related to each challenge. Marcus was able to put the sometimes petty criticism leveled at him in context, and let all that roll off his back. But if he felt that someone else was being targeted or made to feel bad, his papa bear claws would come out. Marcus was unapologetic, thoughtful, stubborn — but always willing to listen to other people’s point of view, self deprecating, funny and very very kind and sweet. I still cannot wrap my mind around the fact that he is gone. He left this world a better place than it was when he arrived in it. I love you Marcus. I miss you Marcus. TIYIALIC ♥

In memory of Marcus, the extraordinary man who created the Mr. SL contest, I want to dedicate some words that fully capture the immense greatness of his character. Marcus’s dedication and commitment to organizing this event were absolutely exceptional. Every detail, every moment of the contest bore his signature of perfection and passion. His kindness knew no bounds, and his nobility of spirit radiated a light that inspired and warmed the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a beacon of kindness in a world often lacking it. Marcus was much more than just an organizer; he was a true gentleman, a beacon of kindness and patience that guided countless people in pursuing their dreams and aspirations. His presence was a comfort, a constant support for anyone in need. His absence today leaves a profound void in the community, a gap that seems insurmountable. His departure has deprived us not only of a friend but of a true pillar. However, his spirit and legacy persist, stronger than ever. When I look back on my 16 years of SL, the events working closely with Kaya Angel & Marcus Wisser at Angel Manor Estate are some of my happiest, and proudest memories. We raised extraordinary amounts of money for St Jude’s Hospital, Aidshilfe Essen, and many other charities over the course of 7 or 8 years of concerts, hunts and big ballroom events. And I don’t need to tell any of his friends and colleagues that as soon as one event was done (and sometimes not even when we were half way through the current one) we were already furiously planning the next. He was instrumental to not only the success of Angel Manor — The Rose Theatre but also to my own development in my role. Thank you for being my friend Marcus. Thank you for everything. I met Marcus in Miss SL 2019. His attention to detail and the kind way he treated us candidates left an impression on me. I met him again in Miss SL 2023. It was the same Marcus, a true gentleman and professional. He took his time giving the candidates feedback, although he didn’t feel very well. His passing away affected me in a way that I had never expected, given that our relationship was not a close one at all. In 2021 I applied to be in the Miss SL pageant for the very first time. I went to the audition and saw Hikaru and Marcus there, I was so nervous and intimidated, as this was a new community for me to be involved with. Over time I got to speak with Marcus & Hikaru and both made me feel very at home and comfortable. Marcus was very wise, sweet and so kind-hearted, and funny. He taught me a lot in SL modeling and I’m proud to have known him. He will always be the “model dad” {Insert John Cena gif here “Who’s your daddy!” From Marcus} Marcus had confidence in me even if I was a newbie to the SL modeling world. He was loved by many and for the simple reason that he was just a good person, with a good soul enjoying his time in Second Life doing what he loves the most with his partner and my friend Hikaru. There is one incident I have not spoken abou tin a very long time. It’s one that really tol dme the kind of person Marcus was long before Miss SL was finalized. It was during the time that he was first getting things together. I was having a very bad night, and I was alone by myself everyone i knew was asleep and the only person who was up was Marcus. I opned the chat with what was my normal opening at the time was bouncing in giving him a hug and bouncing off. However it was one of the few times we had gotten totalking. And when He found out i was having a bad night and the things surrounding it, I asked if i could just come and sit with him because i needed someone physically there with me (as physically as could be online) And he teleported me over to his private room at the Angel Manor, where we just sat there in a very comfortable silence.I think at that time Marcus and I made our first real connection as friends, and I knew since then he was someone who would be in my corner, and he always was ever since.
My name is Hasu, I was happy to have been lucky enough to meet Marcus Lefevre, after I just started to embark on the fashion path a few years ago, as a model, I frequented his wonderful agency Miss SL organization. I have always admired his way of being and his qualities as a director, model, presenter, with attention and great enthusiasm, following him with determination, especially participating in some of the many various fashion shows present in the agency. I will never forget one of the most beautiful moments and it was above all the last Competition MR SL 2022 race, be presented MR RL Aspirant South Korea,of finishing third on the podium, feeling a unique, unforgettable emotion, which will remain forever in my heart, now and forever, especially in I remember him in the fashion world.
