The LHEARN Centre The Lakeridge Health Education and Research Network (LHEARN) Centre is a nearly 25,000 ft2 space, providing a hub for cutting edge training, education and research at the hospital. It also serves as a venue for conferences, training sessions, and other external corporate events.

LHEARN’s auditorium boasts 215 seats, 2 speaker podiums, videoconference capability, an audience response system, and integrated projection screens with 4 configuration options. The auditorium is built-to-purpose, with the design incorporating visibility and acoustic considerations.

Hearing assistive devices are available upon request. *Bookings beyond 8 hours in a single day will be charged the full-day rate, plus $60 for each additional hour.

Conference Rooms accommodate 24 – 40 people (double if combined), and offer fully-integrated audio-visual and video- or tele-conference capabilities upon request. They are also equipped with projectors and screens, and Conference Room B is capable of accessing the Ontario Telemedicine Network, if needed. Classroom set-up for 24 people, boardroom or banquet set-up for 30 people, or theatre set-up for 40 people. *Bookings beyond 8 hours in a single day will be charged the full-day rate, plus $20 (Single)/$30 (Combined) for each additional hour.

Meeting Rooms accommodate 10-16 people, and offer fully-integrated audio-visual and video- or tele-conference capabilities upon request. They are also equipped with LCD displays for presentations. The reception area is perfect for networking and hors d’oeuvres. It is set up with permanent counter- and bar-height seating and table-tops for 40 people, as well as standing and mingling space for another 40. This area comes equipped with two digital displays, which can be set up to a custom slide show throughout the event, or connected to a laptop for a presentation. *Bookings beyond 8 hours will be charged the full-day rate, plus $25 for each additional hour.

Simulation Labs Inquire at LHEARN@lakeridgehealth.on.ca or (905) 576-8711 Ext. 4727, stating the nature of the event, the target audience, date, and length of time you are requesting. Requests for access to simulation space and equipment will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Recurring Events If you are looking to book space for a recurring event, you may be eligible for discounted rates. To make an inquiry, please contact us and state the nature of the event, the target audience, the frequency and length of times you are requesting for bookings.
