RATIONALE:
Trainer’s Methodology (TM) is a course offered by TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority) that aims to equip trainers with the information and skills they need to design and implement engaging and effective training programs. There is a shortage of National TVET trainers Certificate holders for Technical Vocational Institutions, including CDOC-TVI, due to the availability of trained trainers at Technical Vocational Institutions, as well as conflicting requirements and high demand for DepEd teachers.
CDOC-TVI is conscious of the fact that this may present challenges for the institution, particularly with respect to the operation of the existing registered programs, and may also impede the institution from capitalizing on chances to introduce new programs. Because of this difficulty, it is also more challenging for CDOC-TVI to assist its target market, which is comprised of displaced employees and Out of School Youth (OSY).
