Baskervill was founded in 1897 in Richmond, Virginia. It is the oldest architectural and engineering firm in Virginia and one of the oldest in the country.Baskervill continues to respond to the dynamic design environment of today and has been providing architecture, interiors, planning and engineering services to a decering group of the nation’s companies, institiutions, and governments for more than a century.

While the name and the firm has changed over the years, the firm has been continuously engaged in the practice of architecture and engineering as set forth by its founders Mr. Noland and Mr. Baskervill in their original charter.

Baskervill is dedicated to enhancing the built environment through design excellence as a means to create exceptional projects that have a positive and meaningful impact on its owners, clients, users, and public at large. Its approach uses creativity, innovation, building system integration, sustainability, and economic understanding in its creation of highly functional and successful results.
