he new grime king MKT who’s taking the world by sur prise is storming up the grime charts to victory. The new upcoming artist is a solo artist who says “I want to be successful from my own hard earned success and not from some other #tagalongs who helped me get there, I learnt that a long time ago”. He found his desire for grime when he was at a young age but what the fans don’t know is that MKT was actually apart of duo act where his partner Greg Dosher (Back then) used to sing the vocals and MKT lead the rapping sections. MKT’s family were bred in the musical side of things as MKT’s family were church people. His Mother (Mary Traore) had vocals to help people reminisce on their lives, where as his father was the pastor of the church which was tough for MKT doing his own thing as his father wanted MKT to rap about gospel and not secular songs. At the age of 15/16 MKT was in full time education, completing his studies in secondary achieving grades B-D. He also got on very well in college achieving a BBB in his chosen subjects. During this time MKT and Greg Dosher were still very close and continued to carry on the duo act until Greg wanted to take the spotlight from MKT leaving him in the background. Sources tell us that MKT was left on his own to be the foundations of the duo leaving him to doeverything, leading him to the dismissal of the duo act.

From that day forward MKT vowed to work alone and earn his success from other means. Due to the role of his father MKT had to do everything in silence without a word getting back to his dad. MKT had his first performance one night which led him to name himself ‘MKT’, He went on to perform at pubs, mini concerts and other small events just for him to get noticed by a big producer. This lasted for 3 years so at the age of 19 he began to drift from his main goal which was to become a star and in doing so he gave up for a couple of months until he gained some motivational speeches from fans and his mum (Mary), MKT had a rejuvenating exhilaration boost which helped him to post videos across YouTube, be part of small concerts which helped him raise some money for himself and for charity. Fortunately God’s light began to shine on MKT as 2 weeks after his local performance a producer from New York called asking him if he wants a record deal with Hip Hop enterprise. From this point onwards is was all uphill as MKT realised his first hit album ‘Haters Gonna Hate’ on the 8th of February which is rising up the grime charts at 4th position, possibly could even move up to 2nd. With more exclusive news MKT is now going on his first professional tour across the world to go promote his album and himself.
