Since its electric Broadway and West End debut in the early 1970’s, GREASE has remained one of the world’s most popular and enduring musicals. Funny, frank and featuring the hit songs “Greased Lightnin’,” “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” “You’re The One That I Want,” and “Summer Nights,” GREASE follows the journey of Danny and Sandy, alongside the Burger Palace Boys and the Pink Ladies, as they navigate high school to the unforgettable rock n’ roll soundtrack that defined generations.

We’re building a friendly, relaxed PTFA this year, a group of parents who simply want to make school life even better for our children and give them more!
Leventhorpe, has not had a PTFA for 5 years, so we are planning on building this slowly. There’s no pressure, no heavy commitment, and absolutely no expectation to take on more than you want.
You chose this school for your child, and we’d love to welcome you into the community behind it. We don’t need you, but we would truly love to have you involved in whatever way feels right for you.

Welcome to Leventhorpe’s production of Grease - a musical that has earned its place as an icon of stage and screen. Its unforgettable songs, larger-than-life characters, and sheer sense of fun have made it a favourite for generations, and it has been a joy bringing this story to life with our talented students.
This year, we embraced the unique challenge of performing Grease in traverse staging. With the audience on two sides, every moment of choreography and direction had to be reimagined and scenes had to feel alive from every angle. What could have been a limitation quickly became one of our greatest creative opportunities, pushing us to think boldly and choreograph in new and exciting ways.
Our students have risen to every challenge with enthusiasm, energy, and genuine commitment. Their excitement has been infectious; from the first rehearsal to the final run-through. Their dedication shines in every harmony, dance break, and character moment. They have poured themselves into this production, and we could not be prouder of their hard work.
A special mention must go to our ensemble. In Grease, the ensemble is truly the glue that holds the entire production together. They create the world of Rydell High, drive the storytelling, and bring an electric vibrancy to every scene they touch. Their teamwork and spirit embody what school theatre is all about.
It has been an absolute pleasure to direct this production. Thank you for supporting our young performers, and I hope you enjoy the show as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

Since the age of 3, I’ve trained at the Brenda Taylor School of Performing Arts in ballet, tap, modern, jazz, singing and drama. I made my professional debut in the UK premiere of A Little Princess (Royal Festival Hall) and recently earned a scholarship to the prestigious Laine Theatre Arts. I’m excited to be playing ‘Rizzo’ in this production. Merry Christmas!
I love performing in the school productions, this being my fifth (and possibly final!) one. I have always wanted to play a Pink Lady and couldn’t be more excited to do it with my friends. I train with companies BSA, KBD Dance & OPA. I wish everyone luck and am hoping the show isn’t as rocky as Marty’s love life!

I am so excited to be playing Sandy in Grease for my sixth school show! Now in the sixth form, I am continuing to pursue my love of performing arts (mainly because of the amazing department). Outside of schoo, I train at Emil Dale and Stagebox. I’ll be ‘hopelessly devoted’ especially if you don’t enjoy the show.
I have been performing literally my whole life and doing shows at Leventhorpe for almost 4 years. I’ve got to play so many different parts and I’m so grateful for all the opportunities I’ve been given. I’m so happy to be playing Frenchie, as much as it has been a challenge, and I love this cast more than anything!
Being in Grease has been a dream come true. After playing the wicked Miss Hannigan in last year’s KS3 show, stepping into Jan’s lovable spirit was a wonderful shift. I have proudly just finished playing Beth in Little Women which was amazing! Quick thank you to everyone who has supported me, it means the world!

I have enjoyed performing for several years, most recently playing Gomez in the Addams Family. Since joining Leventhorpe, I have played Fagin in Oliver! and have enjoyed my time performing in the school’s senior function band. I am very much looking forward to playing Danny as it has been a dream role of mine for a long time.
I’m really excited about playing Kenickie in the show. I have been in many of the schools shows before, but playing this role has been my favourite so far because Kenickie is a very different character to what I would normally play. I have really enjoyed doing the song greased lightning because the singing has made me more confident about singing and dancing at the same time.
I’ve enjoyed playing Roger and being in this show because of the bonds I’ve made. From not knowing anyone in the show, when I first started at Leventhorpe in September, to being accepted and feeling welcome now, it’s been amazing. I’ll remember the friendships I’ve made now, as well as the memories.

This is my fourth school production and I have loved every minute! I am currently being trained at Diverse Performing Arts. Some of my favourite roles include Pablo in Sister Act and Rooster in Annie. It has been very enjoyable playing a lovable role like Doody instead of the evil ones.
Enjoy the show!!!!
I’m Honey and I’ve been singing, dancing and acting since I was four. Playing Sonny has been a fun challenge and different to my past roles. He’s such a cheeky character! I’ve loved sharing this experience with my amazing cast who I can call my best friends.
Enjoy!

I have been playing drums for 10 years and have recently achieved grade 5 on bass guitar.
This year, I have made “Those Magic Changes” and have left my usual role in the tech team and joined the band which has been great fun!
Sophie Stephenson
Guitar 1
I’ve been playing guitar for 8 years and I might not be the best, but it’s good enough for jazz.

Emily White Piano 1
I am grade 7 on piano and this is my fourth show in the band, though my first whole school production on keys one! I have loved this whole production and will miss it very much, however one thing I won’t miss is having to look at the rest of the band when I have to cue people off, because that is officially ‘The Worst Thing I Could Do’
Lola Neal Bass
This is my first time playing bass in a musical and I’m very excited! Previously I have played the cello in school productions of Annie, Oliver and Shrek, and I’ve played bass in the function bands for almost 2 years. I have been “Hopelessly Devoted” to practising so I hope it goes well!
Guitar 2
I’ve only been in one show previously which was Shrek 3 years ago. I have played guitar for 9 years and am grade 8. I have played in my own band then function band for a few months. I have spent many “summer nights” playing in the band and I hope to continue in the future.

Eddie Bray Saxophone
In the last few years, I’ve enjoyed playing in the band on the saxophone for many shows including: Annie, Oliver, and Shrek. This has assisted me in learning the saxophone, which I’m now working on my grade 7. My personal favourite song in the show is “Summer Nights”.
